Stephen Worth is an American producer of animation. [1] [2]
Worth was a producer for Bagdasarian Productions, Ralph Bakshi and John Kricfalusi's production company Spümcø.
Worth studied at University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Design in 1982. He trained as an artist, but entered the film business as a production assistant at FilmFair studios, a commercial production house specializing in animation. He began researching the techniques and materials used in classic animations along with Lew Stude, and formed Vintage Ink & Paint, an animation art restoration facility in Burbank, California.
He later took a job as production assistant at Bagdasarian Productions, the studio responsible for the series Alvin and the Chipmunks . His first project for the company was to sort, package and market artwork from the feature The Chipmunk Adventure . In nine months, he became associate producer of Bagdasarian's TV series, recordings and prime time television specials.
Ralph Bakshi invited Worth to join him as animation production manager on the film Cool World . Worth handled production duties on Cool World for a little over a year, and left to work on representing the estates of Les Clark, Grim Natwick and Mel Blanc through Vintage Ink & Paint.
John Kricfalusi met Worth through the internet, and they became friends. Worth was the first to show Kricfalusi the "World Wide Web" and encouraged him to get involved in the then-new medium. Together, they created an online animation website called "Spumco's Wonderful World of Cartoons". Worth produced Weekend Pussy Hunt and The Goddamn George Liquor Program , the first Adobe Flash animated web cartoons, as well as an Annie Award-winning rock music video for Björk's single I Miss You . Worth continued to work for Spumco for ten years as a producer on commercials, web cartoons, several television series and a prime time special for Cartoon Network called Boo Boo Runs Wild . In this program, he voiced the classic character Yogi Bear. When Spumco shut down production in 2005 after completing Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" , Worth went to work on building an archive and museum of the art of animation. He also served on ASIFA-Hollywood's Board of Directors for 19 years.
In 2007, Worth was awarded the June Foray Annie Award for a significant and benevolent impact on the art of animation. [4]

Ralph Bakshi is an American animator, filmmaker and painter. In the 1970s, he established an alternative to mainstream animation through independent and adult-oriented productions. Between 1972 and 1994, he directed nine theatrically released feature films, predominantly urban dramas and fantasy films, five of which he wrote. He has also been involved in numerous television projects as director, writer, producer and animator.
Spümcø, Inc. was an American animation studio that was active from 1989 to 2005 and based in Los Angeles, California. The studio was best known for working on the first two seasons of The Ren & Stimpy Show for Nickelodeon and for various commercials. The studio won several awards, including an Annie Award for Best Animated Short Subject for the music video of the song "I Miss You" by Björk.
Michael John Kricfalusi, known professionally as John K., is a Canadian illustrator and blogger, as well as a former animator and voice actor. He is the creator of the animated television series The Ren & Stimpy Show, which was highly influential on televised animation during the 1990s. From 1989 to 1992, he was heavily involved with the first two seasons of the show in virtually every aspect of its production, including providing the voice of Ren Höek and other characters. In 2009, he won the Inkpot Award.
The Goddamn George Liquor Program is a 1997 Adobe Flash animated cartoon series created by John Kricfalusi and starring the animated character George Liquor. It was originally developed as a web-based cartoon by Microsoft's then-new MSN, in partnership with Spümcø studio. After failing to receive approval for publishing from Microsoft, all properties were released to Spümcø, and the web-based cartoon was spun out directly by the Spümcø studio. Michael Pataki reprised his role as Liquor from The Ren & Stimpy Show. Spümcø produced eight one-minute shorts. The budget for each episode was $25,000.
George Liquor is a cartoon character created by John Kricfalusi. Liquor is most famous for his appearances on The Ren & Stimpy Show. He is considered Kricfalusi's signature character and was a mascot for Kricfalusi's defunct animation studio, Spümcø. Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures is an American animated television series. It is a revival of the Mighty Mouse cartoon character. Produced by Bakshi-Hyde Ventures and Terrytoons, it aired on CBS on Saturday mornings from fall 1987 through the 1988–89 season. It was briefly rerun on Saturday mornings on Fox Kids in November and December 1992.
"I Miss You" is a song recorded by Icelandic musician Björk for her second studio album, Post (1995). It was released on 24 April 1995 by One Little Indian as the sixth and final single from the album. Boo Boo and the Man is a 2002 short cartoon starring Boo Boo Bear, the sidekick of Yogi Bear. It was made by The Ren & Stimpy Show creator John Kricfalusi and his company Spümcø using Macromedia Flash. The short was one of the last Web Premiere Toons shorts produced for Cartoon Network's official website.
Boo Boo Runs Wild is a 1999 stand-alone animated television special and a parody of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series The Yogi Bear Show. It was made by The Ren & Stimpy Show creator John Kricfalusi and his company Spümcø. Boo Boo Runs Wild originally aired on Cartoon Network on September 24, 1999, along with A Day in the Life of Ranger Smith, a similar Yogi Bear-themed stand-alone special. Despite Boo Boo being the arguable star of this short, it is title carded as "A Ranger Smith Cartoon". The short is dedicated to Ed Benedict, the original character designer for The Yogi Bear Show and other Hanna-Barbera properties of the 1950s–1960s.

Erik C. Wiese is an American animator, writer, storyboard artist and director. He is best known for his work on the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants (1999–present), beginning with his character development and design for its pilot episode, "Help Wanted." He is the co-creator of the television series The Mighty B! (2008–2011), where he served as director, executive producer, writer, voice director, and storyboard artist for the series. He studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts.
Aaron Paul Springer is an American cartoonist, animator, artist, writer, director, and voice actor. He is the creator of the Disney XD original series Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer, in which he voices the main character, Billy Dilley. He is best known for his work on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, for which he contributed to as a writer, storyboard artist and storyboard director for eight seasons, as well as co-writing and storyboarding its 2004 film adaptation. He's also known for his work on the 2013-2019 Mickey Mouse cartoon series of shorts, which hearkens back to Mickey & Co.'s original style and aesthetic and slapstick-centric comedic adventures from The Golden Age of Animation in a more contemporary setting, where he wrote, directed, and provided storyboards, animation, and voice work for several episodes.
Weekend Pussy Hunt was an Internet-only film noir cartoon series created by John Kricfalusi, starring Dirty Dog and Cigarettes the Cat. The series was initially developed for MSN, which billed it as "the world's first interactive web-based cartoon" and slated it for release in June 1997, but MSN stopped the production before the cartoon was finished. In 1999 the series began airing on Icebox.com, after the release of Spümcø's own web-based Flash cartoon, The Goddamn George Liquor Program. The first scene was animated prior to Flash's acquisition by Macromedia, when the software was still called FutureSplash Animator.
Marland T. "Ren" Höek and Stimpson J. "Stimpy" Cat, created by John Kricfalusi, are the title characters in the Nickelodeon animated series The Ren & Stimpy Show, and its 2003 spin-off Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon". Kricfalusi created the characters during his stay at Sheridan College and they first appeared on film in the pilot episode "Big House Blues". Ren is a scrawny, emotionally unstable, and sociopathic "Asthma Hound" Chihuahua, and his best friend Stimpy is a dim-witted, good-natured Manx cat. The show portrays their wacky, bizarre, and often surreal adventures.

Produced by Bagdasarian Productions and Technicolor Animation Productions with the participation of M6, it features Alvin and the Chipmunks and the Chipettes and marks their first television appearance together since 1990. First announced by Bagdasarian Productions in 2010, a promotional trailer for the series was posted on YouTube.
