Kenneth Turner is a former Australian politician. He was born in Brisbane. Before his involvement in politics he was a commercial fisherman, and served in the Citizens Military Force 1961–1965. In 1998 he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland as a member of Pauline Hanson's One Nation, representing the seat of Thuringowa. He was appointed Spokesperson for Communication, Local Government, Planning, Regional and Rural Communities, Environment, Heritage and Natural Resources, and Primary Industries on 7 August. On 6 February 1999, together with party colleagues Dorothy Pratt and Shaun Nelson, he resigned from One Nation to sit as an independent. He was defeated by Labor's Anita Phillips in 2001. He contested Thuringowa again at the 2009 state election against sitting Labor MP Craig Wallace, but received only around 11% of the vote.
Darryl James Briskey is a former Australian politician. Born in Roma, Queensland, he was a teacher before entering politics. In 1978, he joined the Cleveland branch of the Labor Party. In 1989, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland as the Labor member for Redlands, transferring to Cleveland in 1992. He continued to represent the seat until his retirement in 2006.

He was elected as the member for Archerfield in 1984, and held that seat until his election as the member for Inala in 1992. Palaszczuk retired from politics in 2006, and was succeeded in his seat of Inala by his daughter Annastacia Palaszczuk, who has been the Premier of Queensland since 2015.
Terence Boland Sullivan is a former Australian politician. He was born in Brisbane. Before entering politics he was a school teacher, and a member of the Queensland Association of Teachers and Independent Schools. In 1981, he joined the Labor. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in 1991 as the member for Nundah, moving to Chermside in 1992 and Stafford in 2001. When Labor won the 1998 state election, Sullivan was appointed Government Whip, a position he held until his retirement from politics in 2006.
Neville George Warburton was an Australian politician from Queensland, who served as leader of the opposition from 1984 to 1988, and as a minister in the Goss Ministry from 1989 to 1992.
Trevor Leonard Strong is a former Australian politician. He was a Labor member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland from 2001 to 2004, representing the seat of Burnett.
Glen Richard Milliner is an Australian compositor, businessman and politician who was a Labor member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for the electoral district of Everton from 1977–92, and then for the new electoral district of Ferny Grove from 1992–1998. Robert John Pyne is an Australian politician, currently serving as a Cairns Region councillor as a member of the Socialist Alliance. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland from January 2015 until November 2017, representing the electorate of Cairns. Pyne was elected for the Australian Labor Party, but resigned to sit as an independent in March 2016; he then lost his seat to a Labor candidate at the 2017 election. Pyne was formerly a two-term councillor for the Cairns Regional Council. Pyne is the first quadriplegic member of any parliament of Australia.
Patrick Joseph "Pat" Hanlon was an Australian politician. He was a Labor member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly from 1956 to 1974, representing the electorates of Ithaca (1956-1960) and Baroona (1960-1974).
