With the new contract with NBC beginning in the 2011–12 season, the new pregame show is called NHL Live and the new postgame show is called NHL Overtime, which show the NHL on NBC studio host and analysts, from the NBC and Comcast merger.
William Patrick "Foxy" Dineen was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and head coach. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Black Hawks between 1953 and 1958. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1953 to 1971, was spent in the minor leagues. After his playing career Dineen became a coach and worked in the World Hockey Association from 1972 to 1979. He was the head coach for the Houston Aeros for all six seasons before coaching the Hartford Whalers for the 1978-79 season. The architect of a team in roster construction, Dineen's Aeros reached the playoffs in every season of their history and won the Avco World Trophy twice.
Victor John Stasiuk was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger and coach. He played in the National Hockey League from 1949 to 1963, and then served as a coach from 1969 to 1973.
Michael Gerald Melnyk was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Black Hawks and St. Louis Blues between 1956 and 1968. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1953 to 1968, was spent in the minor leagues. After retiring in 1968, Melnyk became a scout with the Philadelphia Flyers, a role he would remain at until 1997.

The rest of his career, which lasted from 1957 to 1973, was mainly spent in the American Hockey League.
Mark William Lamb is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player, and current general manager and head coach of the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League (WHL). Lamb was previously the head coach of the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Swift Current Broncos of the WHL. Lamb was born in Ponteix, Saskatchewan but grew up in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
