Stephen Neil Edwards, better known by his stage name Steve Edwards, is an English house music singer and songwriter from Sheffield, England. He has collaborated with several house music producers.
During the 1990s, Edwards lent his collaborative efforts to British deep house musician Charles Webster, the most notable being "Future Love", a track released by Presence, one of Webster's pseudonyms. He started appearing as a featured artist on tracks by the Problem Kids.
However, Edwards' first mainstream breakthrough was Cassius' "The Sound of Violence". The track, in which he shares credits with the French duo, went to number one on Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 2002. [1] This was followed up in 2003 by "Falling Star", a minor club hit produced by Starchaser. In 2005 Steve Edwards' collaboration with Swedish producer Axwell brought him fame once again on a Latin-flavoured house hit "Watch The Sunrise". The track reached #3 on the UK Dance Singles Chart, as well as BBC Radio 1 Dance Chart.
In 2006, he returned to radioplay, after writing and providing vocals for Bob Sinclar's "World, Hold On". In this summer he also participated in Festivalbar 2006, an important music festival around the Italian squares.
In September 2006, Edwards released the single "Thru The Night". This was the first time he was credited as main artist, instead of featured artist. "Thru The Night" was produced and written together with fellow Sheffield resident, producer/guitarist Martin Smith - a long-standing collaborator with Steve Edwards. Together they have remixed and produced music for Bob Sinclar and many others. Steve has also co-produced the tracks "Fate" (with Starchaser) and "Walls of Science" (for singer Beth Wild). In February 2015 Melbourne duo, L'Tric, released their debut single titled "This Feeling" where Steve Edwards sang lead vocals.
Edwards is currently lead singer in the Sheffield-based band Lords of Flatbush along with Andy Nicholson (ex-Arctic Monkeys), Louis Carnall (Milburn), Phil Jones and Nic Burke.
Moloko were an Irish-English electronic music duo formed in Sheffield, England, consisting of vocalist Róisín Murphy and producer Mark Brydon. Blending elements of electronica and dance music, they are best known for their UK top 10 singles "The Time Is Now" (2000) and "Familiar Feeling" (2003), as well as the 1999 Boris Dlugosch remix of "Sing It Back" which became an international hit.

"Sing It Back" is a song written and performed by Irish-English electronic music duo Moloko. It first appeared in its original version on Moloko's second album, I Am Not a Doctor (1998); it was released as a single on 8 March 1999, reaching number 45 on the UK Singles Chart. The song experienced chart success after it was remixed by DJ Boris Dlugosch, peaking at number four in the UK in September 1999. Murphy had started writing the lyrics while clubbing in New York City, and knew the song was at heart a dance track, but the group wanted to record it in a different artistic fashion for its album version.

Catalogue is a greatest hits album by English-Irish electronic music duo Moloko. It was released on 17 July 2006 by The Echo Label. Spanning two discs, Catalogue contains Moloko's singles and a track exclusive to this compilation, "Bankrupt Emotionally". The second disc contains a live recording of a concert recorded in 2003 at Brixton Academy, at the end of the band's eight-month tour performed that year. The US version does not contain the second disc. For US listeners, this was their first time hearing most of the songs on this album, as aside from the entirety of the first album and "Sing it Back," the only other Moloko track released in the US was "Indigo" on the Mystery Men soundtrack.
"World, Hold On " is a song by French music producer and DJ Bob Sinclar, featuring Steve Edwards. It was released as the second single from Sinclar's Western Dream album, on 17 April 2006. Following its release, the song reached number one in Hungary and Romania, peaked at number nine on the UK Singles Chart, and became a top-10 hit in 10 other European countries, including Sinclar's native France, where it peaked at number two. On the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, the track reached number one in July 2006. An E-Smoove-produced remix of the song was nominated for a 2007 Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.

There are a total of 40 tracks formatted across two discs. The discs were mixed by John Course and Goodwill. This was Goodwill's first appearance in the Sessions series while it was the third appearance for Course.
Ministry of Sound Sessions Seven is a dance music compilation album and the seventh installment of the Ministry of Sound Australia "sessions" series which started back in 2004. There are a total of 63 tracks spread across the three discs. The Discs were mixed by The Stafford Brothers, Tommy Trash & Steve Aoki. This was the first appearance for all artists but Tommy Trash who appeared in Ministry of Sound Sessions Six. Disc One was mixed by The Stafford Brothers, Disc Two by Tommy Trash and Disc Three by Steve Aoki "Sessions Seven" finished 2010 with the Number 4 position in the ARIA 2010 End Of Year Top 50 Dance Albums Charts and in position 8 of the ARIA Top 50 Compilations Chart for 2010.
