Steve Walker (born January 12, 1973) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey player. He is currently serving as head coach of Schwenninger Wild Wings in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).
Born in Collingwood, Ontario, Walker played junior hockey for the Stayner Siskins, Owen Sound Platers and the Barrie Colts before turning pro in 1993, playing nine games for the ECHL's Wheeling Thunderbirds. [1] Walker then spent two seasons in the Colonial Hockey League with the Muskegon Fury, scoring 43 goals and 57 assists for 100 points in the 1995-96 season. [2] He split the 1996-97 season in the Colonial Hockey League with the Flint Generals, the American Hockey League for the Rochester Americans and the International Hockey League with the Detroit Vipers where he would spend another three seasons.
In 2000, Walker joined Eisbären Berlin, [3] a member of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in Germany and remained with the team until 2011. He made 593 DEL appearances for the Eisbären team, tallying 213 goals and 379 assists. He captured five German championship titles with Berlin and had his jersey retired on December 26, 2014. [4]
From January 2013 to 2015, [5] he served as head coach of the Stayner Siskins, a member of the Georgian Mid-Ontario Junior C Hockey League. [6]
On August 5, 2015, Walker was appointed as assistant coach of German club Adler Mannheim. [7] He ended his two-year tenure in 2017 and took over the head coaching job at EC KAC in the Austrian Hockey League. [8]

The Deutsche Eishockey Liga or DEL, is a German professional ice hockey league and the highest division in German ice hockey. Founded in 1994, it was formed as a replacement for the Eishockey-Bundesliga and became the new top-tier league in Germany as a result. Unlike the old Bundesliga, the DEL is not under the administration of the German Ice Hockey Federation.
Eisbären Berlin is a professional ice hockey team based in Berlin, Germany. The team competes in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), the highest level of play in professional German ice hockey, and is also one of the league's founding members. The Eisbären have won the DEL championship more often than any other team, with eight DEL championships as of the 2020–21 season. They won the German ice hockey cup in 2008 as well as the European Trophy in 2010. Before reunification the team won the East German ice hockey championship 15 times as SC Dynamo Berlin.

The Adler Mannheim is a professional ice hockey team of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, the highest-level ice hockey league in Germany. The team is based in Mannheim, a city in the northern part of Baden-Württemberg. Currently, the team plays at SAP Arena, where they moved to at the beginning of the 2005–06 season after having played at Eisstadion am Friedrichspark for nearly seven decades from 1938 through 2005. They have won the German Championship a total of eight times, seven of those coming after 1994 in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Mark David Beaufait is an American former professional ice hockey player. He resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He played 5 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the San Jose Sharks during the 1992–93 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1992 to 2009, was spent mainly in the International Hockey League and in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga - where he won 4 championships with Eisbären Berlin. Internationally he played for the American national team at the 1994 Winter Olympics.
Florian Kettemer is a German professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for Eisbären Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).. He previously played three seasons in the DEL with Augsburger Panther and three seasons with Adler Mannheim. On April 1, 2014, Kettemer signed a one-year contract as a free agent with his third DEL club, EHC München.
The 2010–11 Deutsche Eishockey Liga season is the 17th season since the founding of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. As reigning champions of the 2. Bundesliga, EHC München were promoted to the DEL.
