Stig Lennart Andersson (born 30 March 1957) usually referred to as Stig L. Andersson, is a Danish landscape architect, founder and Creative Director of Copenhagen-based SLA which has developed into an interdisciplinary organisation working with landscape, urban spaces and urban planning.

Andersson is also professor at University of Copenhagen and was visiting professor at Aarhus School of Architecture in 2009.

Biography

Stig L. Andersson studied landscape architecture at the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1981 to 1986. Following his graduation, he travelled to Japan on a Japanese scholarship. After first embarking on an academic career, working as an assistant professor from 1985 to 1991, he set up his own practice in 1994. [1] In 2002 it was the first office to be awarded the international landscape architecture magazine Topos's European Landscape Award in recognition of its focus on sensory urban spaces. [2]

The firm is a frequent collaborator with leading Danish architectural firms such as Henning Larsen Architects, C. F. Møller Architects and Lundgaard & Tranberg.

At the 2011 International Horticultural Exposition in Xi'an, China, Andersson was one of 10 landscape architects specially invited to create a so-called 'master garden'. [3]

Lundgaard & Tranberg

Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter is a Danish architectural firm, based in Copenhagen Denmark. It is most noted for the Tietgenkollegiet student housing in Ørestad from 2006 and the Royal Danish Playhouse on the Copenhagen harbourfront from 2008. Lundgaard & Tranberg has won RIBA European Awards three years in a row in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Dorte Mandrup-Poulsen is a Danish architect. Founder and Creative Director of the architectural practice Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter A/S that has approximately 60 employees. The practice is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is behind several internationally acclaimed buildings.

Christensen & Co (CCO) is an architectural firm based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 2006 by Michael Christensen and is particularly known for its work in sustainable architecture, often with the educational sector.

Frederiksberg Gymnasium Public gymnasium school in Copenhagen, Denmark

Frederiksberg Gymnasium is an upper secondary school in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Its current building, located just off Falkoner Allé, was inaugurated in 2004 to a design by Henning Larsen Architects. The school has 650 students.

Mette Lange is a Danish architect. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1990, she divides her time between Denmark and India. She has received awards and recognition for her outstanding design of villas and vacation houses in Denmark and the mobile schools she has designed for nomad children in Goa.

Marianne Levinsen Danish architect (born 1963)

Marianne Levinsen is a Danish architect who has specialized in landscape architecture. She has won several awards for her contributions to the urban space, including the Eckersberg Medal and the Dreyer Honorary Award, both in 2012.
