Menzel had recently released her first solo album, Still I Can't Be Still , so she embarked on a short tour to promote it. [1] The tour ran from November 3 to November 24, with concerts in various venues across the northeastern area of America. Despite the tour, the album flopped, selling only 18,000 copies to date.

Idina Kim Menzel is an American actress and singer-songwriter. Nominated for three Tony Awards, of which she has won one, Menzel is known for her powerful mezzo-soprano voice and signature belting technique. Having achieved success in stage, film, television and music, Menzel is regarded as one of the most prolific Broadway performers of her generation.

While wowing audiences in the original production of Rent, Menzel was offered a record deal with Hollywood Records. After selling less than 10,000 copies in the US and missing the Billboard 200, Menzel's label put the album out of print, and she was dropped from the label. However, demand for the album grew significantly after Menzel rose to a greater fame with her Tony-winning performance in Wicked, and was subsequently re-released in September 2005.
