Stradey (Welsh : Y Strade) is an area of the town of Llanelli in the county of Carmarthenshire in Wales, home to Stradey Park, where the Llanelli RFC and Llanelli Scarlets rugby teams were formerly based. Stradey is also home to the town's only Welsh language secondary school, Ysgol y Strade.

Sandy is an area in the county of Carmarthenshire in south-west Wales, on the western border of Llanelli town, about 5 miles east of Burry Port.
Llanelli is a market town and community in Carmarthenshire and the preserved county of Dyfed, Wales. It is located on the Loughor estuary and is the largest town in the county of Carmarthenshire. The town is 11 miles (18 km) north-west of Swansea and 12 miles (19 km) south-east of Carmarthen. The town had a population of 25,168 in 2011, estimated in 2019 at 26,225. The local authority was Llanelli Borough Council when the county of Dyfed existed, but it has been under Carmarthenshire County Council since 1996.
The Scarlets are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams and are based in Llanelli, Wales. Their home ground is the Parc y Scarlets stadium. They play in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup. The club was originally named the Llanelli Scarlets but was renamed at the start of the 2008–09 rugby season.
Llanelli Town Association Football Club are a semi-professional Welsh football club that plays in the Cymru South. The original club was wound up on 22 April 2013 at the High Court in London following a petition presented by HM Revenue and Customs. They were reformed later that year as Llanelli Town AFC and played in the Welsh Premier League. The club finished 12th in the 2018/19 Welsh Premier League season, and were relegated after failing to gain a Tier 1 Licence. They played in the Cymru South for the 2019–20 season.

Stradey Park was a rugby union stadium located near the centre of the town of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It was the home of the Scarlets region and Llanelli RFC rugby teams. The stadium was a combination of seating and standing with a total capacity of 10,800. Following the Scarlets' move to Parc y Scarlets in 2008, Stradey Park was demolished two years later and replaced with housing.

Ysgol Gyfun y Strade is a Welsh-medium secondary school and sixth form in the town of Llanelli, Wales. It opened in September 1977 as a comprehensive school for boys and girls. As of 2022, there were 1,209 pupils enrolled at the school.
The 2007–08 season was the fifth in the history of the Llanelli Scarlets regional side. The season saw the Scarlets compete in three competitions: the Celtic League, the EDF Energy Cup and the Heineken Cup. It was also the last full season for the Scarlets in their historic home, Stradey Park. A new ground, Parc y Scarlets, was under construction during that season, and is scheduled to open in November 2008, early in the 2008–09 season.

Cwmbach is a small hamlet in Stradey Woods between Llanelli and Trimsaran in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The village was home to a chapel and a public house. It is based around the Afon Cwmmawr and Afon Dulais that join together in the heart of the hamlet, and meet the sea at Ffynnon Helyg at nearby Pwll. Welsh is the dominant language.
Colin J. Stephens is a Welsh former rugby union player who played as a fly-half for Llanelli RFC and Leeds RUFC. Born in Morriston, Swansea, he was educated at Ysgol y Strade and played representative rugby for Wales Schools. He made his senior debut for Llanelli in January 1988, playing six times before the end of the 1987–88 season. He began the 1988–89 season sharing the number 10 shirt with Wales international Jonathan Davies, but following Davies' departure to rugby league at the start of 1989, Stephens took over on a permanent basis.
