Sayyid Hassan Aghaee Firouzabadi was an Iranian military officer. He served as the Chief-of-Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces—the most senior military authority in Iran—from 1989 to 2016. After that, he was appointed as a senior military advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran and a member of the Expediency Discernment Council.

Tehran Metro Line 3 travels from northeast to southwest. Line 3 is one of the most important lines as it connects southwest Tehran to northeast, crosses busy parts of the capital city, and can help to alleviate traffic problems. About 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) of Line 3 became operational in December 2012, followed by 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) in April 2014, and finally, the last section of the line which is 18 kilometers (11 mi) opened on September 22, 2015, increasing the length of the line to a total of 33.7 kilometers (20.9 mi).

2014–15 Hazfi Cup Football tournament season

The 2014–15 Hazfi Cup was the 28th season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Tractor Sazi was the defending champion but was eliminated by Padideh in quarter-finals. The competition started on 1 September 2014 and ended on 1 June 2015. Zob Ahan won their third title after defeating Naft Tehran in the final.

Amir Hatami

Amir Hatami is an Iranian regular army (Artesh) officer with the rank of Brigadier general and Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces of Army Affairs and the former minister of defense of Iran. He was designated as the defense minister by President Hassan Rouhani on 8 August 2017 and gained vote of confidence from the parliament on 20 August 2017, with 261 yes, 10 nays, 13 abstentions and 4 invalid votes.

Hossein Hassani-Sa'di was an Iranian regular military (Artesh) officer who served as the deputy commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters. He was assassinated in Tehran on May 22 2022.

Second brigadier general is a senior rank in the armed forces of Iran. The rank was introduced in 1987 as part of a new modified ranking system. Currently, there is no equivalent for the rank of second brigadier general in other countries but the rank of second brigadier general lies under the NATO equivalent code of OF-6. It is the lowest ranking general officer rank in the armed forces of Iran and lies between the ranks of colonel and brigadier general. However, the equivalent rank in the Iranian navy is the rank of Second flotilla admiral.

Sedjil (air-to-air missile) Air-to-air missile"`UNIQ--ref-00000004-QINU`"

Sedjil is an Iranian air-to-air missile. It is a "guided semiconductor radar", made by the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force ; which is actually a changed version of ground-to-air missile HAWK. The Sedjil weighs approximately 500 kg, its length is 5 meters and its diameter is about 40 cm. The effective range of the missile is approximately 90 km. Its speed is estimated to be about 4-5 mach.

Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani Iranian general and minister

Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani is a member of the Iranian military with the rank of Brigadier General who has served as the minister of defence since 2021. Ashtiani was sworn in on August 25, 2021, replacing Brigadier General Amir Hatami who held role since 2017.
