The Future Sound of London is a British electronic music group composed of Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans. Described as a "boundary-pushing" electronic act by AllMusic, their work covers many areas of electronic music, such as techno, ambient, house music, trip hop, psychedelia, and dub.

Sugarland is an American country music duo founded in Atlanta, Georgia, consisting of singer-songwriters Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. Curve were an English alternative rock and electronica duo from London, formed in 1990 and split in 2005. The band consisted of Toni Halliday and Dean Garcia. Halliday also wrote the lyrics of their songs and they both contributed to songwriting. An important collaborator was producer Alan Moulder, who helped them to shape their blend of heavy beats and densely layered guitar tracks set against Halliday's vocals.

The current members are lead singer and guitarist Nick Whitecross, keyboardist Jon Kingsley Hall, second keyboardist George Stewart, and guitarist Simon Aldridge. Former members include saxophonist Josephine Wells, violinist Peter Barnett, drummer Stevie Cusack, and vocalist Sylvia Griffin.
Popol Vuh were a German musical collective founded by keyboardist Florian Fricke in 1969 together with Frank Fiedler, Holger Trülzsch (percussion), and Bettina Fricke. Other important members during the next two decades included Djong Yun, Renate Knaup, Conny Veit, Daniel Fichelscher, Klaus Wiese, and Robert Eliscu. The band took its name from the Mayan manuscript containing the mythology of highland Guatemala's K'iche' people.

It was written by Roger Waters, taking lyrics from a Chinese poetry book, and features a drum part by Nick Mason played with timpani mallets. It is the only song recorded by Pink Floyd to feature material from all five band members, as there are several different guitar parts recorded by both David Gilmour and Syd Barrett.

Deviation is the forth solo studio album by American singer Jayne County, released in 1995 by Royalty Records in the USA, RPM Records in the UK and Rebel Rec in Europe. Outside of the US, the album was credited to Jayne County and The Electric Chairs, even though none of the original band The Electric Chairs that Jayne performed with in the 1970s were on the recording. The album recorded at Abraham Moss Studio in Manchester, England in the Autumn of 1994.

Naked is the debut studio album by English new wave and synth-pop band Kissing the Pink, released in May 1983 by Magnet Records. The album peaked at No. 54 on the UK Albums Chart in April 1983, and produced their Top 20 hit "The Last Film". The song was their best performing single in the UK, and the only one to break the top 75. It is their only album to feature singer Sylvia Griffin who left the band before the album was completed.
Certain Things Are Likely is the third studio album by English pop band Kissing the Pink, released in 1986 by Magnet Records. Kissing the Pink co-produced the majority of the album with frequent collaborator Peter Walsh at various notable studios in Southern England. Magnet Records remixed most of the album in an attempt to make the album sound more commercial, using Phil Harding, which at the time Nick Whitecross explained "this record is like a ticket for us to go to as many people as possible". The album continued to express similar themes and values in their lyrics found on their previous albums, such as their deadpan surrealist humor and mordantly satirical social commentary.

What Noise is the second studio album by English synth-pop band Kissing the Pink, released in 1984 by Magnet Records. It is the last Kissing the Pink album to feature founding members including saxophonist Josephine Wells, and violinist Peter Barnett. Second keyboardist George Stewart would also leave the band after this album but would later rejoin the band. The album features new addition, Simon Aldridge, who played guitar, and bass in the band. This album did not reach as much attention and was not as widespread as Kissing the Pink's other albums. It never held a worldwide release. It was their first album to make use of sampling.
