Personal life

Sugeeth married his longtime girlfriend Saritha Nair on 6 December 2003. The couple have two children, a daughter Shivani and son Devanarayanan. Sugeeth resides in Ernakulam.

Career

Sugeeth has been an associate director to Kamal since the film Gramophone in 2003 until Aagathan in 2010. He debuted as a director in 2012 with the Malayalam film Ordinary , starring Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon. [1]

The film follows the life of a driver and conductor of a K. S. R. T. C. bus that travels from Pathanamthitta to the village of Gavi via Angamoozhy.

His noted works include Ordinary and Trivandrum Lodge. His first production venture under the banner of Magic Moon Productions was Malayalam film Ordinary directed by Sugeeth. Shritha Sivadas is an Indian actress and television presenter. She made her debut in Sugeeth's Ordinary (2012). After long time she made a comeback through Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 in 2019.

<i>Motorcycle Diaries</i> (film) Indian film

Motorcycle Diaries is an unreleased Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Rajesh Pillai, starring Kunchako Boban and Nivin Pauly in lead roles. The film is based on the mental relationship between one motorcycle and his previous owner. The film was produced by Sugeeth and Satheesh under the banner of Ordinary Films. Bollywood scenarist Suresh Nair, Tamil writer Jeyamohan and Rajesh Pillai co-wrote the screenplay. Santosh Thundiyil and Aneesh Lal crank the camera for the film. Shaan Rahman composes the music and also makes his debut as an actor. The film started shooting in Kolkata in May 2013.

3 Dots is a 2013 Malayalam comedy thriller film directed by Sugeeth. The film stars Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon and Prathap K. He plays a funny Cop called Rakesh. The web series has been released in 7 languages in India. His latest Tamil film is ‘Hostel’ directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan starring Ashok Selvan, Priya Bhavani Shankar and comedian Sathish.

Ashiq Usman is an Indian film producer and actor who works in Malayalam films. He also acted in Malayalam films as child artist. He launched Ashiq Usman Productions in 2012, As a producer his debut was Arikil Oraal which starred Indrajith Sukumaran, Remya Nambeesan, and Nivin Pauly. His latest film was the blockbuster Anjaam Pathiraa, starring Kunchacko Boban.
