Indonesia,officially the Republic of Indonesia,is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania,between the Indian and Pacific oceans. It consists of over 17,000 islands,including Sumatra,Java,Sulawesi,and parts of Borneo and New Guinea. Indonesia is the world's largest archipelagic state and the 14th-largest country by area,at 1,904,569 square kilometres. Joko Widodo,popularly known as Jokowi,is an Indonesian politician,engineer,and businessman who served as the seventh president of Indonesia from 2014 to 2024. Previously a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P),he was the country's first president to not emerge from the country's political or military elite. He previously served as governor of Jakarta from 2012 to 2014 and mayor of Surakarta from 2005 to 2012.

Her first book,White Tribe of Asia,a discussion of Australia's culture,history and politics,was published in 1993. She was Presidential Secretary to Abdurrahman Wahid,and in 2000,she served as Programme Coordinator Information and Publication for United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Indonesia. Two years later,she co-edited a book,The Poor Speak Up,17 Stories of Corruption,for the World Bank. Hardjono married Fajrul Falaakh,vice dean of law at Gadjah Mada University.
Maria Farida Indrati is a former justice of the Constitutional Court of Indonesia for two terms. During her both terms,she was the only woman among the Court's nine members.
Bambang Widjojanto is an Indonesian human rights activist. He is the co-founder of the Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation and a "leading advocate for the rights of the indigenous peoples of West Papua". According to The New York Times,his work for indigenous peoples made him "the target of repeated threats and detentions by the Indonesian government".

Airlangga Hartarto is an Indonesian politician and businessman. He is the current Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs in President Joko Widodo's Onward Indonesia Cabinet,appointed on 23 October 2019. He was also the chairman of Golkar Party from 2017 to 2024.
Roya Rahmani is an Afghan diplomat who served as Afghanistan's first female ambassador to the United States and non-resident ambassador to Mexico,Argentina,Colombia,and the Dominican Republic from December 2018 to July 2021. She is currently the Chair of the international advisory company in development finance —Delphos International LTD. She is also a distinguished fellow at the Georgetown Institute for Women,Peace,and Security,a senior advisor at the Atlantic Council's South Asia Center,and a senior fellow for international security at the New America Foundation. From 2016 to 2018,she served as Afghanistan's first female ambassador to Indonesia,first ever ambassador to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations,and non-resident ambassador to Singapore.
Kartini Muljadi is an Indonesian businesswoman and corporate lawyer,who previously worked as a judge and notary. Since 2007,she has been listed as one of the richest women in Indonesia.
