Sumann (earlier Suman Mishra, Jugnu Ishiqui ) [1] [2] (born 24 December 1989) is an Indian actress, model, singer and a dancer.

Personal life

Sumann was born and brought up in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She completed her schooling from D.B.M.S. English School and her higher schooling from Motilal Nehru Public School. She completed her graduation from Sophia College for Women in Mumbai. Her father Sushil Kumar Mishra is a doctor. [3] She has been practicing dance since the age of four and did her master's degree in Kathak dance. [4]

Career

Sumann started her career as modelling and came into limelight when she did a photoshoot with firecrackers on Diwali. [5] She then appeared in the promotional song Saari Dhuniya Mere Ispe in the movie Loot. [6] [7] In 2013 she did an item song in Sillunu Oru Sandhippu. [8] She also worked as Tarla in Ammaa Ki Boli. [9] [10] Later she got recognition in the movie Crazy Cukkad Family, as Cherry produced by Prakash Jha. [11] Sumann has attended Raosaheb Gurav's painting exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery. [12]

Sillunu Oru Kaadhal is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by N. Krishna from a story by A. C. Durai. It stars Suriya, Jyothika and Bhumika, while Shriya Sharma, Sukanya, Vadivelu and Santhanam play supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics by the Indian poet Vaali; cinematography for the film was handled by R. D. Rajasekhar and editing was handled by Anthony. The film was released on 8 September 2006, three days before the wedding of Suriya and Jyothika. Bhumika Chawla made her comeback in Tamil cinema after 5 years in this movie. The film was first titled as Jillunu Oru Kadhal, and it is then changed to Sillunu Oru Kadhal to have a pure-Tamil name.

Regarded as one of the finest and iconic actresses of the golden age of Hindi Cinema, Sadhana was noted for her exquisite beauty, understated acting and trend-setting fashion statements. Sharda Rajan Iyengar, shortly Sharda, is an Indian playback singer in the 1960s and 1970s.
