Sumgait Boulevard is a promenade located in the city of Sumgait, along the coast of the Caspian Sea. It was established in 2016. [1]
During a visit to Sumgait in July 2011, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, emphasized the need for a boulevard in the city, suggesting that it should align with the standards of Baku Boulevard. [2]
The total area of the boulevard is 106 hectares, and its length is 4.2 kilometers. The Nasimi Cultural and Recreation Park is also one of the main parts of the boulevard. [3]
Three notable landmarks are located at the upper part of Sumgait Boulevard: Goyarchin Sculpture, Alley of Martyrs, and Nasimi Park. Each of these sites is connected to the boulevard by stairs leading down to the waterfront area. [4]
The boulevard includes a Flag Square, where the state flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan is displayed on a 42-meter-high flagpole. The square also houses a Mugham Center and a Flag Museum. [5]
Additionally, the boulevard features a Green Theatre, an open-air auditorium designed for cultural and entertainment events. [3]
The Boulevard features an ASAN Xidmət Center, offering convenient public services. [6]
Sumgait is a city in Azerbaijan, located near the Caspian Sea, on the Absheron Peninsula, about 31 kilometres away from the capital Baku. The city had a population of 422,600 at the 2019 Census, making it the second largest city in Azerbaijan after Baku.

2020 Baku Victory Parade was held on 10 December, in Azadliq Square, Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. It was held in honor of the Azerbaijani victory during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh war, officially described as the Patriotic War in Azerbaijan. The parade was held with 3,000 military servicemen who distinguished themselves during the war marched alongside military equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles and aircraft, as well as Armenian war trophies, and Turkish soldiers and officers, while navy vessels performed maneuvers in the nearby Bay of Baku, and jets and helicopters flew above the city. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a key ally of Azerbaijan in the war, also attended the military parade as part of a state visit to Baku.

Shah Abbas Square is a square located in the historical center of the city of Ganja, Azerbaijan. At one time, it was the main memorial complex of the suburb of the Ganja fortress. The complex of Shah Abbas Square was firstly mentioned in the plan of the Ganja fortress of 1797.
