DoCo is a pop group composed of five female Ranma ½ voice actresses. The performances are done in-character. DoCo has released three albums: DoCo★First, DoCo☆Second, and DoCo Original Karaoke. Some of the songs were translated and performed in English by DoCo U.S.A., the corresponding English language voice actors. Some of their songs were used as the opening and ending themes for the Ranma ½ OVA, as well as in music videos that accompanied the OVAs. A few songs also appear on various Ranma ½ musical albums.

Yuuko Ishibashi is a Japanese singer, born April 3, 1980, in Tokyo, with a four octave vocal range. She is most well known for her vocal performances in Gust-produced video games such as the Ar tonelico series and Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm. She has also performed in various Japanese television advertisements and events, theater, and children's programmes. Her debut album Haruka naru Toki no Utagoe was released January 2008.
Lunkhead (ランクヘッド) is a Japanese rock band signed under Victor Entertainment and is managed by Chockyu co. ltd. The band played its first show during their high school graduation ceremony in 1999.

"Kaze no Gotoku" is Japanese-American recording artist Joe Inoue's fifth single, and the second from his album Dos Angeles. The song was used for the opening theme of a season of the reruns of the anime Gin Tama known as Yorinuki Gin Tama-san. "Kaze no Gotoku" remained on the Oricon Weekly Singles Charts for three weeks, peaking at 33. A variation of the song was included on Dos Angeles subtitled the "B.B.B. ver.", "B.B.B." standing for the nonsense phrase "Buri Buri Bass".
