Originally instrumental, it was released as a vocal song called "Sunburn (Walk Through the Fire)" as 12" vinyl and CD single in the Netherlands on 17 February 2003 by Armind. The single version features uncredited vocals from British singer Victoria Horn. It is the third single from van Buuren's first studio album, 76 .
A music video to accompany the release of "Sunburn" was released in 2003. It is a performance of Van Buuren in Auckland. [2]
