"In and Out of Love" is a collaboration between Dutch DJ and record producer Armin van Buuren and Dutch singer and songwriter Sharon den Adel from the band Within Temptation. It was released on 6 August 2008 as the second single from van Buuren's third studio album, Imagine .
The single has been performed live by Sharon and Armin during the Armin Only: Imagine shows. [3] As of August 2023, the single has more than 286 million views for its official music video on YouTube, making it the second most viewed video on Armada Music's YouTube channel. [4] [5]
In January 2016, the song was sampled on British rapper Dave's single, "JKYL+HYD". [6]

Sharon Janny den Adel is a Dutch singer who is the lead vocalist and one of the main songwriters of the symphonic metal band Within Temptation. She has been a performing musician since the age of 14, and is a founding member of Within Temptation, along with Robert Westerholt, in 1996. She was also elected to be the Dutch chairperson of the jury for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and record producer. Since 2001, he has hosted A State of Trance (ASOT), a weekly radio show, which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries on over 100 FM radio stations. According to the website DJs and Festivals, "the radio show propelled him to stardom and helped cultivate an interest in trance music around the world".
