Sunshine Records was a Filipino record label owned by Vicor Music Corporation. It was established in the early 1970s by Orly Ilacad, the co-founder of Vicor. [1] [2]
Some of the songs that became hits under the label were "Ang Nobya Kong Sexy" by the APO Hiking Society, "Ang Boyfriend Kong Baduy" by Cinderella in 1976, "Dukha" performed by Judas in 1978, "Pakita Mo" by Archie D. in 1990, & "Kaba" by Tenten Muñoz in 1991.
The label became dormant by 1994 and its artists were moved to its parent Vicor.

Cinderella is a 1950 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney. Based on the fairy tale of the same name by Charles Perrault, it is the 12th Disney animated feature film. The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, later popularly known as APO Hiking Society, or simply APO, was a Filipino musical group and one of the pillars of the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) composed of Danny Javier†, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garrovillo. The group had its fledgling beginnings in 1969 at the Ateneo de Manila high school, with 15 members: John Paul Micayabas, Lito de Joya, Sonny Santiago, Gus Cosio, Renato Garcia, Chito Kintanar, Kenny Barton, Bruce Brown, Butch Dans, Kinjo Sawada, Ric Segreto Macaraeg, Goff Macaraeg, Doden Besa, Jim Paredes, Boboy Garrovillo, and the 16th member Danny Javier who joined in college. The group's name was created from the acronym AMHS representing their school with a witty twist having an irreverent reference to the Philippine revolutionary intellectual and hero, Apolinario Mabini, and later shortened to "Apo", an Ilocano term for a wise man or a Tagalog term of grandchildren, and later re-branded to "APO". Contrary to popular belief, the "Apo" name was not a reference to the Philippines's highest peak, the potentially-active stratovolcano Mount Apo.

The group recorded for Sunshine Records, and together with contemporaries Hotdog, formed the impetus of what would be the Manila sound movement. Cinderella's most recognized single is "T.L. The Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT), also known as simply Newport Theater, is a performing arts center on the grounds of Newport World Resorts in Pasay, Metro Manila, the Philippines.
