Supermodelo 2007 was the second season of Supermodelo . Due to the success of the previous season the number of contestants was increased from 13 to 20 girls. The show took place live once every week, where a public vote decided which one of two nominated contestants would be eliminated from the competition, and the judges would nominate a new set of contestants for elimination. The period in between was pre-recorded, and tracked the progress of all the girls as they received lessons on various aspects of modeling, took part in photo shoot sessions and other fashion related challenges. The goal of the show was to find Spain's next representative in the Elite Model Look contest.

The winner of the competition was 21-year-old Noelia López from Seville.

Castings

Originally aired: 13–17 August 2007 [1]

Prior to the beginning of the main competition, a short series of 22-minute segments following the castings aired twice a day from Monday through friday beginning on 13 August.

Gala 1

Originally aired: 27 August 2007 [2]

Lisa, Janire, Gracia and Dabryna were eliminated from the competition, leaving sixteen girls standing. The remaining girls had a casting for Custo Barcelona, where Isabel and Marta V. were selected to attend one of his shows in New York City. At the end of the week, Magdalena and Irene were nominated for elimination.

Gala 2

Originally aired: 3 September 2007 [3]

Irene was chosen by the public as the first contestant to be eliminated from the competition. The remaining models had to face a second round of nominations, but only after taking part in a summer-themed runway show. The final test was a bridal runway show where the girls had to wear designs by Rosa Clará. Sandra and Paola were nominated for elimination.

<i>Supermodelo 2008</i> Season of television series

Supermodelo 2008 was the third and final season of Supermodelo. This season saw significant changes when former host Judit Mascó was replaced by Eloísa González. For the first time, male contestants were allowed to participate in a separate competition from the females, whose winner would eventually be the representative for Spain in the annual Elite Model Look contest as in the two previous years. Various changes and variations of the format proved to be very unpopular with Spanish audience and the show was cut after a total of eight weeks on air. The last week of the competition saw the back to back eliminations of the seventh, sixth, fifth and fourth placers, and the live final took place that same week on June 20 with the remaining six contestants. The winners of the competition were 21 year old Eva Prieto from Barcelona and 20 year old Oliver Baggerman from Tenerife.

Miss Europe 1970 was the 33rd edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the 22nd edition under the Mondial Events Organization. It was held at the Skylistion Theatre in Piraeus, Greece on 15 September 1970. Noelia Alfonso Cabrera of Spain, was crowned Miss Europe 1970 by outgoing titleholder Saša Zajc of Yugoslavia.

Miss Europe 1974 was the 37th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the 26th edition under the Mondial Events Organization. It was held in Vienna, Austria on 29 May 1974. Maria Isabel "Maribel" Lorenzo Saavedra of Spain, was crowned Miss Europe 1974 by outgoing titleholder Anna "Anke" Maria Groot of Holland. The 1975 contest was originally scheduled to take place in Beirut, Lebanon but was cancelled due to the Lebanese Civil War. The contest returned in 1976.
