Supradiscus is a monospecific genus of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Cyprinidae, the family which also includes the carps, barbs, minnows and related fishes. [2]
Supradiscus contains only one valid species, which is endemic to Vietnam: [3]
Species formerly allocated here, S. incisorbis and S. micropulvinus, of which the latter is the type species of Supradiscus are endemic to China, and are now placed in Placogobio .
