Suru L'ere is a 2016 Nigerian comedy drama film, co-produced and directed by Mildred Okwo. It stars Seun Ajayi, Beverly Naya, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Tope Tedela and Enyinna Nwigwe, with a special appearance from Rita Dominic. [3] [4] [5]

Set in Lagos, the film revolves around Arinze (Seun Ajayi), a young graduate trainee, who is a serial debtor, desperately eager to get ahead.

Casting

In March 2015, it was announced that Beverly Naya would be starring in Suru L'ere. [6] Rita Dominic, who is the executive producer of the film had a cameo appearance as a local Akara seller. [7]

Filming

Principal photography of Suru L'ere commenced in April 2015, [8] and was shot in ten days. [9]

Promotions

On 16 April 2015, Behind the scenes photos for Suru L'ere were published on BellaNaija. [10] It was also published on Nigerian Entertainment Today [11] and other major media outlets and entertainment blogs. The first official trailer was released on YouTube on 8 September 2015. [12] A Television trailer was released on 15 January 2016.

The film was released on 12 February 2016. [7]

Ajayi was born on 31 March in Kaduna, the Northern part of Nigeria and is the last child among five children. His family moved to Lagos when he was nine years old. <i>The Smart Money Woman</i> Nigerian series

The Smart Money Woman is a Nigerian TV series based on a 2016 novel of the same name by Arese Ugwu. The series premiered on Africa Magic Showcase in September 2020. The series was filmed to exclusively dramatise the novel. The series which initially aired as a single season of 13 episodes on Africa magic was released on Netflix as a single season with 7 episodes on Netflix on 16 September 2021. It was executively produced by the writer of the novel, Arese Ugwu and produced by Isoken Ogiemwonyi, Akintunde Marinho, Kemi Lala Akindoju. It starred Osas Ighodaro, Timini Egbuson, Ini Dima-Okojie, Kemi Lala Akindoju and many others.
