Kimberly Susan Rhode is an American double trap and skeet shooter. A California native, she is a six-time Olympic medal winner, including three gold medals, and six-time national champion in double trap. She is the most successful female shooter at the Olympics as the only triple Olympic Champion and the only woman to have won two Olympic gold medals for Double Trap. She won a gold medal in skeet shooting at the 2012 Summer Olympics, equaling the world record of 99 out of 100 clays. Most recently, she won the bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics, making her the first Olympian to win a medal on five continents, the first Summer Olympian to win an individual medal at six consecutive summer games, and the first woman to medal in six consecutive Olympics.
The men's trap was a shooting sports event held as part of the Shooting at the 1920 Summer Olympics programme. It was the fourth appearance of the event. The competition was held on 23 and 24 July 1920 and 18 shooters from seven nations competed. The United States swept the podium ; it was the second sweep in the men's trap. Mark Arie took the gold medal, the second consecutive victory by an American. Frank Troeh earned silver, while Frank Wright finished with bronze. Arie also received Lord Westbury's Cup, a challenge prize previously awarded in 1908 and 1912 to the winners of those years' men's trap competitions.
Women's double trap shooting made its first appearance at the 1996 Summer Olympics, with Kim Rhode becoming the inaugural champion. Susanne Kiermayer defeated Deserie Huddleston in the silver medal shoot-off.
Charlotte Hollands is a British sports shooter. She won her first Commonwealth Gold medal at the age of 15 at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. In 2015 World Championship, she was part of the British team that won gold in the team trap event.
Sonja Scheibl is a German trap shooter. She previously worked as a carpenter before she became a member of Itzstedter SV shooting club, where she was trained by her coach Wilhelm Metelmann. In 1998, Scheibl made her international debut by competing at the World Championships in Barcelona, and by winning the bronze medal in the team event, along with her teammates Silke Hüsing and Susanne Kiermayer. A year later, Scheibl won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Tampere for the individual trap, and in 2001, she led her team to win the bronze in the trap and the silver in the double trap events at the 2001 European Shooting Championships in Zagreb.
Yukie Nakayama is a Japanese trap shooter, who competed at three Olympic games and won the silver medal at the 2013 ISSF World Championships. Nakayama made her official Olympic debut at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she finished thirteenth in the women's double trap, with a score of 94 points, tying her position with Finland's Pia Julin.

Giuseppe di Salvatore is a Canadian sport shooter. He is a bronze medalist in men's trap shooting at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Pak Yong-hui is a North Korean sport shooter. She won two silver medals in the women's trap at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, and at the 2008 ISSF World Cup series in Beijing, with scores of 83 and 90 targets, respectively.
Lee Wung Yew, is a Singaporean sport shooter. He is a three-time Olympian, a six-time Asian Games competitor, and a thirteen-time Southeast Asian Games medalist (1985–2009). Because of his long-term success and full commitment to the sport, Lee was named Singapore's Sportsman of the Year in 1990 and in 1998. He was also conferred the Public Service Medal and Public Service Star for his contribution to sports. He is currently teaching at Assumption English School as a Physical Education teacher.
Stefanie Thurmann is a German sport shooter. She won a bronze medal in the women's sport pistol at the 2009 ISSF World Cup series in Changwon, South Korea, accumulating a score of 787.2 points.
Stefan Rüttgeroth is a German sport shooter. He won a gold medal for the men's trap shooting at the 2006 ISSF World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, and bronze at the 2011 ISSF World Cup in Sydney, Australia, accumulating a score of 142 clay pigeons each.
Stacy Roiall is a New Zealand-born Australian sport shooter. She won two medals in the women's trap at the 2004 ISSF World Cup in Sydney, Australia, and at the 2005 ISSF World Cup in Rome, Italy, with scores of 94 and 86 targets, respectively. She also captured a gold medal in the same discipline, along with her partner Laetischa Scanlan, at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, setting a new games record of 93 clay pigeons.
Kang Gee-Eun is a South Korean sport shooter. She beat World Cup champion Yang Huan of China and two-time Olympian Yukie Nakayama of Japan for the gold medal in the women's trap at the 2012 Asian Shooting Championships in Doha, Qatar, accumulating a score of 93 clay pigeons. Kang is also a member of Korea Telecom Shooting Team, and is coached and trained by Song Nam-Jun.
Yelena Anatolyevna Tkach is a Russian sport shooter. Representing the former Soviet Union, Tkach won a silver medal in the women's double trap at the 1991 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Perth, Australia, with a total score of 121 clay pigeons. She also defeated Lithuania's Daina Gudzinevičiūtė by one point for the gold medal in the women's trap at the 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Lahti, Finland, accumulating a score of 93 targets. Tkach is also a member of the shooting team for Dynamo Voronezh, and is coached and trained by her teammate and two-time Olympian Maxim Kosarev.
Fátima Gálvez Marín is a Spanish sport shooter. She was the World champion in the individual trap event at the 2015 World Shotgun Championships, and won the Olympic champion in the team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Lin Yi-chun is a Taiwanese sport shooter. She won two medals, gold and silver, in the women's double trap, at the 2001 and 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Cairo, Egypt and Lahti, Finland, respectively. She also captured a bronze medal in the women's trap at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, accumulating a score of 80 clay pigeons and a bonus of 1 target from a shoot-off. She won gold at the 2023 ISSF World Shooting Championships in trap.
Megumi Inoue is a Japanese sport shooter. She has produced a career tally of six medals, including two golds in women's double trap shooting at the Asian Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and also finished fifth at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Inoue serves and trains full-time as a member of the Japanese Clay Target Shooting Association, under head coach Hiroshi Teranishi.
Roberta Pelosi is an Italian sport shooter. She has been selected to compete for Italy at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and has established a career tally of eighteen medals in a major international competition, including a world-record breaking gold at the 1998 ISSF World Cup meet in Cairo, Egypt and a silver in women's trap at the 2003 World Shotgun Championships in Nicosia, Cyprus. Pelosi is a member of Valle Aniene Target Shooting Club, and a resident athlete of the Italian Clay Shooting Federation, where she trains under head coach and 1996 Olympic double trap medalist Albano Pera.
British Shooting is the national governing body for ISSF shooting sport disciplines in the United Kingdom. The organisation serves as a single shooting body to receive public funding from UK Sport and Sport England, administer high performance squads and talent pathways as well as serve as the member body for shooting sports with organisations such as the British Olympic Association and ISSF.
