Suspekt is a Danish hip hop group. They are known for their dark, intense style, which has sometimes been described as horrorcore. [2] [3] The group consists of rappers Bai-D (Andreas Bai Duelund) and Orgi-E (Emil Simonsen), as well as producer Rune Rask. Former member Troo.L.S (Troels Nielsen) announced in 2008 that he would move to the United States to work, as a producer, with hip hop/R&B artist Akon. [4] [5]

In 1998, they founded the record label Tabu Records.

In 2009, the Suspekt members joined forces with rapper L.O.C., forming the group Selvmord. [6]

Suspekt have their own record label, Tabu Records, which they founded in 1998 Tabu Records consists of the Copenhagen-born Rune Rask, Emil Simonsen (Orgi-E), Andreas Bai Duelund (Bai-D), Troels Nielsen (Troo.L.S) and Kasper Færk. The record company has signed artists like Suspekt, VETO, JO:EL, Jeppe Rapp, Marwan, The Floor Is Made of Lava, Kasper Spez, Orgi-E, Troo.L.S

<i>Elektra</i> (Suspekt album) 2011 studio album by Suspekt

Elektra is the fourth studio album from Danish hip hop group Suspekt, released 12 September 2011. It is produced by Rune Rask and Jonas Vestergaard. The symphony orchestra Czech Film Orchestra is featured on Brænder Byen Ned, Helt Alene, Nyt Pas, and Parasitter (Parasites). The orchestral music was recorded in the Rudolfinum Concert Hall, Prague, and was composed and orchestrated by Frederik Magle who also plays pipe organ on Parasitter. Danish singer Tina Dickow is featured on Helt Alene.

Troels Nielsen better known by his stage name Troo.L.S is a Danish musician and music producer from Albertslund, Copenhagen, Denmark.

When Saints Go Machine is a Danish electropop band from Copenhagen. The group consists of three members: Silas Moldenhawer (drums), Jonas Kenton and Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild (vocals). Until February 2019, there was a fourth member, Simon Muschinsky (keys). Moldenhawer and Kenton are also known from their parallel project, Kenton Slash Demon. When Saints Go Machine brings a more soulful sound than Kenton Slash Demon's rhythmic electro-house music. When Saints Go Machine was formed in 2007 and debuted with their self-titled EP in 2008. Emil Simonsen better known by his stage name Orgi-E is a Danish rapper who in 1997 became part of the formation Suspekt alongside Rune Rask and Bai-D. He has also developed his solo career independent of the group. In 2005, he cooperated with Troo.L.S, a previous member of Suspekt in the album Forklædt som voksen. In 2012 his solo album Klamfyr released on Tabu Records reached #1 on the Danish Albums Chart in its first week of release.

Kian Rosenberg Larsson, known professionally as Gilli, is a Danish rapper, singer, and songwriter from Rødovre, Capital Region. After initially growing out of the B.O.C. rap collective and releasing several singles between 2011 and 2013, also as a feature artist, Gilli rose to mainstream prominence in 2014 following the release of the musical drama film Ækte vare (2014), playing a fictionalized version of himself.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Phlake</span> Danish R&B musical group

Phlake is a Danish R&B and soul group, consisting of Mads Bo (vocals) and Jonathan Elkær (beats). The group released their first single in 2015, called "So Faded", which had some success in Denmark, but did not enter the official single chart. However on 16 October 2015, the single "Pregnant" was released and entered the Danish singles chart at number 9. The official international music video for "Pregnant" was released on YouTube by Sony Music on 11 March 2016. The video was also released in several countries, with the song gaining recognition in Sweden. They have also played at Norwegian music festival By:Larm.

Benjamin Jacob Small Heyn-Johnsen, also known as Benny Jamz or at times Höjer Øye is a Danish-Jamaican rapper and record producer. He has been a member of the B.O.C. rap group collective and of the Molotov Movement. He is of mixed origin with a Danish father and a Jamaican mother.

MellemFingaMuzik is a Danish hip-hop group, consisting of rappers Stepz and Branco. The duo started publishing materials in late 2011, after which they joined the Danish record label HideOut that also had signed up rappers Jooks and Sivas. When HideOut closed, MellemFingaMuzik started a collaboration with the newly formed label Grounded. They also teamed up with Benny Jamz and Gilli, from the B.O.C. collective, and all formed the common front and collective known as the Molotov Movement.

Rijan Nabaz better known by his stage name Node is a Danish-Kurdish singer and rapper.
