Swadhin Kshatriya was the Chief Secretary Government of Maharashtra [1] and senior most Civil service IAS officer in Maharashtra. [2]
He was appointed to organize Prime minister Narendra Modi's pet project Make in India in Maharashtra by the Government. [3] [4]

Following the filing of extortion cases against him,he was untraceable,and was declared as absconding by a Mumbai magistrate Court. Singh was suspended from his present position as head of home guard because of his absence by the government of Maharashtra.
