Swanandi Tikekar (born 13 November 1990) [2] is a Marathi actress. [3] She is daughter of Uday Tikekar and Arati Ankalikar Tikekar. [4] She known for her performance in Zee Marathi's Dil Dosti Duniyadari as Meenal Shewale and Dil Dosti Dobara as Mukta. [5] She married Ashish Kulkarni on December 25, 2023

Career

She pursued master's degree in law from ILS Law College. She is well known for her role as Meenal Shewale in Dil Dosti Duniyadari , Mukta in Dil Dosti Dobara and Sakhi in Assa Maher Nako Ga Bai. [6] She was also seen in the plays Ek Shoonya Teen and Don't Worry Be Happy. [7] [8] [9] She also played Ankita in Agga Agga Sunbai Kay Mhanta Sasubai

She is the 1st winner of the popular singing contest Singing Star . [10] In 2021, she hosted the Sony Marathi's Indian Idol Marathi . [11]

<i>Duniyadari</i> 2013 Indian film

Duniyadari is a 2013 Indian Marathi-language coming-of-age romantic comedy drama film directed by Sanjay Jadhav and produced by Deepak Rane under the production banner of Dreaming 24/7 Productions. Released in Maharashtra on 19 July 2013 and considered to be a cult film in Marathi cinema, the film stars an ensemble cast of Swapnil Joshi, Ankush Chaudhari, Urmila Kanitkar Kothare, Sai Tamhankar, Jitendra Joshi, Sushant Shelar, Uday Sabnis, Uday Tikekar, Varsha Usgaonkar, Sandeep Kulkarni and Nagesh Bhosle. The film is based on the novel of the same name by late author Shri Suhas Shirvalkar and ran for more than 100 days in cinemas. The film is about the journey of everyone which eventually makes them realise the true face of life. This is the only Indian film of the decade (2010-2020) which has completed 50 weeks in cinemas and had the most collection at the box office for a film in Marathi which was broken by Timepass in 2014, again by Lai Bhaari and again by Sairat in 2016. The film was remade in Kannada in 2017 as Noorondu Nenapu and in Gujarati in 2017 as Duniyadari.

Dil Dosti Duniyadari is a Marathi television sitcom produced by Sanjay Jadhav and Deepak Rane. It started airing on Zee Marathi from 9 March 2015. It revolves around six friends living as paying guests in Mumbai with the home owner's nephew Sujay, in a house they affectionately call "Mazghar". The serial's first season concluded on 20 February 2016. The series second season, Dil Dosti Dobara, was a reboot sequel.

Samhita: The Script is a 2013 Indian Marathi film directed by duo Sumitra Bhave—Sunil Sukthankar and produced by Mukta Arts in association with Ashokk Movies. The film stars Devika Daftardar, Milind Soman, and Rajeshwari Sachdev along with Uttara Baokar and Jyoti Subhash in supporting roles.
