Sinister is a death metal band from Schiedam, the Netherlands, formed in 1988. They have released fourteen albums, most recently Deformation of the Holy Realm in 2020.
Somewhere Far Beyond is the fourth studio album by the German power metal band Blind Guardian. It was released in 1992 and produced by Kalle Trapp. The cover artwork was created by Andreas Marschall, who also drew the artwork for other Blind Guardian's releases. The album saw the band creating its own original sound, while still employing most of their speed/power metal techniques.

Scrolls of the Megilloth is the second studio album by Australian Christian death metal band Mortification. It was released on 28 August 1992. The band's most famous release, this album is full-on death metal, with the thrash metal roots barely showing, and possibly their most extreme album to date. According to AllMusic, the album "garnered the band some attention from the heavy metal underground" and contains "some of the most frightening vocals ever recorded." In 2010, HM Magazine ranked Scrolls of the Megilloth number 17 on the Top 100 Christian Metal Albums of All Time list with Van Pelt stating that "Though the band has been living it down ever since, this album raised the standard of Christian grindcore to almost unattainable levels."
Existence is the second album by the German progressive metal band Dark Suns. It was released on 21 February 2005 through Prophecy records. For this release, the band dropped the harsh vocals that were used for the band's previous album Swanlike.

Swan Songs is the debut studio album by American rap rock band Hollywood Undead. It was released through Octone Records and Polydor Records on September 2, 2008. "Everywhere I Go" was the first single to be released, it was a web single and was available for download only on iTunes. The band released four music videos for four songs on the album, "No. 5", "Undead", "Young", and "Everywhere I Go". When purchased through Amazon.com and at some other retailers, the album includes a bonus track and an option to unlock music videos.
DarkSun is a Spanish power metal band from Asturias. Formed in 2002 after the split of Nörthwind, the band has since released six studio albums. DarkSun has often cited Blind Guardian, Helloween, Angra, and Rage as their biggest and most important influences.
Fireangel is the sixth studio album by German power metal band Mystic Prophecy. It is the first album to feature new guitarist Constantine, new bassist Connie Andreszka, and new drummer Stefan Dittrich who all joined the band in 2008. It was released by Massacre Records on May 22. It is the first Mystic Prophecy album to chart, reaching No. 77 on the German albums chart.
Dark Roots of Earth is the eleventh studio album by American thrash metal band Testament. It was released on July 27, 2012, in Europe, and four days later in North America by independent German record label Nuclear Blast Records. The album is available in three configurations, CD, CD/DVD and vinyl, with the latter two versions including four bonus tracks. The album was produced by Andy Sneap, who mixed and engineered the band's previous three studio releases, The Gathering (1999), First Strike Still Deadly (2001), and The Formation of Damnation (2008). The album artwork was created by Eliran Kantor. A music video was made for the track "Native Blood". Dark Roots of Earth entered the Billboard 200 at number 12, Testament's highest position ever.
Orange is the fourth studio album by German progressive metal band, Dark Suns. It was released on 2 December 2011. According to audience reviews, the album largely abandons the band's previous style in order to create a 1970s progressive rock vibe, similar to Opeth's Heritage, which was released the same year as Orange.
Witching Hour is the fifth studio album by German gothic metal band The Vision Bleak, released on 27 September 2013 through Prophecy Productions. It is a concept album based on popular fictional witches. A digipak version containing a bonus track, as well as a deluxe edition featuring three bonus tracks, were also released.
