Swedish National Financial Management Authority

The Swedish Agency for Financial and Public Management (Swedish: Statskontoret) is a central government agency under the Ministry of Finance in Sweden. On July 1, 1998, the agency was established as the Swedish Financial Management Agency (Swedish: Ekonomistyrningsverket). [1] However, on January 1, 2026, the former Agency for Public Management was merged into Ekonomistyrningsverket and the agency then changed its name to Statskontoret. [2] [3]
