The European Junior Swimming Championships is an annual swimming competition for European swimmers organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation and held over five days. The competitor age for females was 15 to 16 years; for males it is 17 to 18 years until 2015. From 2016 the competitor age is for females 14 to 17 years and for males 15 to 18 years.
Farida Hisham Osman is an Egyptian competitive swimmer who specializes in butterfly and freestyle events. An All-Africa Games gold medalist and Egyptian national champion and record-holder. Osman is the fastest female swimmer in Egypt and Africa, she is currently coached by Teri McKeever. Osman holds the senior national records for all the butterfly, freestyle and backstroke events, as well as African records in the 50m and 100m butterfly.
Hali Flickinger is an American professional swimmer who specializes in freestyle, butterfly, and individual medley events. She represents the Cali Condors of the International Swimming League.
Alba Vázquez Ruiz is a Spanish swimmer who specializes in breaststroke and individual medley events. She won the bronze medal in the 400 metre individual medley at the 2022 Mediterranean Games. At the 2019 European Junior Championships she won a gold medal in the 400 metre individual medley. She won one gold medal and one silver medal at the 2019 World Junior Championships in individual medley events. She is a former world junior record holder in the 400 metre individual medley.
