Sylvester Tetteh (born 7 July 1977) is a Ghanaian politician. He is a member of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency in the Ga South Municipal District in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. He was the former chief executive officer of National Youth Authority (NYA). [1] [2] [3]
Tetteh was born on 7 July 1977. He hails from Old Ningo. He is a graduate of Regent University College of Science and Technology where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science marketing in 2010. [4] In 2019,he was appointed as the chief executive officer of National Youth Authority (NYA) to replace Mr Emmanuel Sin-nyet Asigri,who was sacked because of procurement breaches. [5] [6]
Tetteh is a member of the New Patriotic party. In the 2012 and 2016 General elections,he contested and lost the Ningo-Prampram constituency seat against Enoch Teye Mensah and Samuel Nartey George of the NDC respectively. [7] [8] In the 2020 NPP parliamentary primaries,Tetteh switch from Ningo-Prampram to contest in Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro,where he resides. He won against Habib Saad the incumbent member of parliament. [9] [10] [11] He won the general elections. [12] [13]
He serves as the Vice Chairperson and a member of Communication Committee and Local Government and Rural Development Committee respectively in the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. [14] [15]
In September 2021,he was appointed the board chairperson of the board chairman of the Ghana Enterprise Agency by President Nana Akuffo-Addo. [16] [17]

The Ningo-Prampram Constituency is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. The constituency derives its name from the two towns located within the constituency. The towns are the much larger and older Ningo and the relatively younger Prampram which is much smaller. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Ningo-Prampram is located in the Ningo-Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Central University College has a campus at Miotso near Prampram and plans are underway to relocate its other campuses to Ningo-Prampram. Hope City which was initially planned to be built at Kasoa has also been relocated here. Plans are also underway to build the new international airport at a location near Ningo.
Hanna Serwaa Tetteh is a Ghanaian barrister and politician. She served in the cabinet of Ghana as Minister for Trade and Industry from 2009 to 2013 and Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2017. She was also the Member of Parliament for the Awutu-Senya West constituency. She currently serves as the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa.
Enoch Teye Mensah, commonly known as E. T. Mensah, was a Ghanaian politician. He was Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram from 7 January 1997 to 7 January 2017 and held ministerial offices in the presidential administrations of Jerry Rawlings from 1993 to 2001 and John Atta Mills from 2010 to 2012 in Ghana.
