Joanna Gash is a former Australian politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives representing the Division of Gilmore for the Liberal Party from 1996 to 2013. In 2012,Gash was directly elected as the Mayor of the City of Shoalhaven,a local government area in the south-eastern coastal region of New South Wales. In 2016,Gash lost the direct election for Mayor of the City of Shoalhaven to Amanda Findley. She was elected as a Ward 2 Councillor for the City of Shoalhaven.
The Municipality of Ashfield was a local government area in the Inner West of Sydney,New South Wales,Australia. It is about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) west of the Sydney central business district. The municipality was proclaimed on 28 December 1871 as the "Borough of Ashfield",which changed to the "Municipality of Ashfield" in 1906. On 12 May 2016,Ashfield merged with Marrickville Council and the Municipality of Leichhardt to form the Inner West Council.

It is dedicated to removing noise pollution for residents of Sydney,which is generated by the city's three airports. The party suggested that the airports should be shifted to the edge of Sydney,away from the dense residential areas. The party's former adherents included Greens MLC Sylvia Hale.
