Srikanth is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films. He is credited as Sriram in Telugu films. He debuted in K. Balachander's tele serial Jannal – Marabu Kavithaigal (1999). His film debut was in the romantic film Roja Kootam (2002) and went on to star in more such films including April Maadhathil (2002), Parthiban Kanavu (2003) and Okariki Okaru (2003). He subsequently went on to portray action roles in Drohi (2010). In 2012, he starred in Nanban, the Tamil remake of 3 Idiots, directed by S. Shankar.
Murali Karthikeyan Muthuraman, better known by his stage name Karthik, is an Indian actor, playback singer and politician who works in Tamil cinema. He is the son of veteran actor R. Muthuraman. In the 1980s and 90s, Karthik was one of the biggest stars in the industry. He was first introduced by Bharathiraja in the Tamil film Alaigal Oivathillai (1981) and became a lead actor in Tamil films by his own. He has also appeared in some Telugu films where he was initially credited as Murali. Karthik is popularly known as Navarasa Nayagan for his "ability to emote all forms of actions and emotions". He has acted in more than 125 films. He has been the recipient of four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, a Nandi Award and four Filmfare Awards South.
Santhanam is an Indian actor and producer who mainly works in Tamil cinema. Beginning his career as a comedian on television, he rose to fame through his performances in STAR Vijay's Lollu Sabha enacting the lead role in spoofs of Tamil films. He was subsequently given a chance by actor Silambarasan to feature in a supporting role in Manmadhan (2004) and then was signed on to appear in a host of films, notably winning good reviews for his work in Sachien (2005) and Polladhavan (2007). He appeared in a one-off leading role in Shankar's production Arai En 305-il Kadavul (2008) and became a staple feature as a comedian in successful Tamil films during the period, with his market popularity helping stuck films find distributors.

Vishal Krishna Reddy, professionally known as Vishal, is an Indian actor and producer who works in Tamil films. Born to film producer G. K. Reddy, Vishal is known for his roles in action films. Mayakkam Enna is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language psychological drama film written and directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by Gemini Film Circuit in association with Aum Productions its own banner. It stars his brother Dhanush, along with newcomer Richa Gangopadhyay, and features music scored by G. V. Prakash Kumar while the cinematography was handled by Ramji. The film revolves around an aspiring photographer and the problems he faces, causing him to fall into distress. How he manages to achieve his goals from thereafter forms the rest of the story.
Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, starring Silambarasan and Trisha. Jointly produced by Elred Kumar, Jayaraman, VTV Ganesh and P. Madan under the banner Escape Artists Motion Pictures and RS Infotainment, the film was distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The story was simultaneously shot in Telugu as Ye Maaya Chesave, starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, however, with a different cast.

All in All Azhagu Raja is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by M. Rajesh. The film stars Karthi in dual lead roles with Kajal Aggarwal, Prabhu, Santhanam, Saranya Ponvannan, and Radhika Apte in the supporting roles. The music was composed by S. Thaman with cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan and editing by Vivek Harshan. The film was released on 2 November 2013 coinciding with Diwali to negative reviews from critics.
Aahaa Enna Porutham is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by C. Ranganathan. The film stars Ramki, Goundamani and Sanghavi. It was released on 19 September 1997.
Anegan is a 2015 Indian period romantic thriller film co-written and directed by K. V. Anand and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, S. Ganesh, S. Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment. The film features an ensemble cast starring Dhanush and Amyra Dastur in a quadruple roles, while Karthik, Ashish Vidyarthi, Aishwarya Devan, Mukesh Tiwari and Jagan appear in supporting roles. The plot of this story is inspired from the 1963 film Nenjam Marapathillai. The film's title is based on Thiruvasagam, which was written by poet Manikkavacakar. Set in four different time periods, the film is based on theme of reincarnation, which revolves around Ashwin (Dhanush) and Madhu who were lovers in their past lives, have been brought together in the present.

Karthik Anitha is a 2009 Tamil language romance film directed by Srihari. The film stars newcomers Rathan Trivikrama and Manju, with Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rajan P. Dev, Abhinay, Bala, Vishnu, Nihal, Singamuthu, Crane Manohar and Lollu Sabha Manohar playing supporting roles. The film, produced by Shankar V. Raajhan, was released on 10 April 2009.
Adada Enna Azhagu is a 2009 Tamil-language romance film directed by T. M. Jayamurugan. The film stars Jai Akash and newcomer Nicole, with Sarath Babu, Ashish Vidyarthi, Karunas, Aishwarya, Rekha, Aarthi and Mahadevan playing supporting roles. It was released on 20 March 2009. The film was also dubbed into Telugu as Aaha Entha Andam and into Hindi as Tum Ho Sabse Haseen.
Thee Ivan is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language crime drama film written, produced and directed by Jayamurugan Muthusamy. The film stars Karthik and Sukanya in the main lead roles. The film marked the return of Karthik in the main lead role, after a long gap. The film received positive reviews from critics especially the emotional depth and character portrayal were well received throughout the film.
