TJ Metcalf (born May 6, 2005) is an American football safety for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Metcalf attended Pinson Valley High School located in Pinson, Alabama. Coming out of high school, Metcalf was rated as a three-star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks. [1] [2]
During Metcalf's first collegiate season in 2023, he appeared in all twelve games for Arkansas where he notched 15 tackles and a fumble recovery. [3] [4] In week two of the 2024 season, Metcalf tallied 12 tackles, versus the Oklahoma State Cowboys. [5] In week three, Metcalf had an interception to help the Razorbacks clinch a 37-27 win over the UAB Blazers. [6] In week four, Metcalf had a breakout game notchimg four tackles, two pass deflections, two interceptions, and a forced fumble which prevented a touchdown, as he led the Razorbacks to a 24-14 win over Auburn. [7] [8] For his performance in week for versus the Auburn Tigers, Metcalf was named the SEC defensive player of the week. [9]
Metcalf is the cousin of current NFL wide receiver, DK Metcalf. [10] [11]

The 2008 Arkansas Razorbacks football team represented the University of Arkansas in the 2008 football season. The Razorbacks played five home games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas and one home game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas.[a] The Razorbacks finished the season with an overall record of 5–7 and a conference record of 2–6 in Bobby Petrino's inaugural season.
The 2005 Alabama Crimson Tide football team represented the University of Alabama during the 2005 NCAA Division I-A football season. This was the team's 73rd season in the SEC. The 2005 squad collected a record of 10–2 under coach Mike Shula. The team started off the season at 9–0, notching wins over Florida and Tennessee. The team lost their final two regular season games against LSU and Auburn. The Crimson Tide received a bid to the 2006 Cotton Bowl Classic against Texas Tech, where they defeated the Red Raiders on a last-second field goal by Jamie Christensen.

The team played their home games at Bryant–Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. Gene Stallings led the Crimson Tide to an 8–3 record. Due to NCAA sanctions, no bowl appearance was made.

The team played five home games at Razorback Stadium and two home games at War Memorial Stadium. Coach Bobby Petrino was in his third year with the Razorbacks. They were members of the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference. The Razorbacks finished the season 10–2, 6–2 in SEC play and earned a berth in the Sugar Bowl, their first appearance in a BCS bowl since the inception of the BCS in 1998, where they were defeated by Ohio State by a 31–26 score.
Pinson Valley High School (PVHS) is a four-year public high school in the Birmingham, Alabama suburb of Pinson. It is the fifth largest of the Jefferson County Board of Education's fourteen high schools. School colors are garnet and gold, and the athletic teams are called the Indians. The 2020–21 Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team represented the University of Arkansas during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by second-year head coach Eric Musselman and played its home games at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as a member of the Southeastern Conference. The Razorbacks finished second in the SEC regular season and earned a 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament's South Regional. Arkansas went on to make it to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 1995–96 season, and then to the Elite Eight for the first time since the 1994–95 season. Freshman guard Moses Moody was named the SEC Freshman of the Year, 1st Team All-SEC, Freshman All-American, and AP Honorable Mention All-American. The Razorbacks finished the season with an overall record of 25–7, 13–4 in SEC play, and finished ranked #6 in the Coaches Poll and #10 in the AP Poll. Arkansas's season ended when they lost to eventual national champion Baylor in the Elite Eight.
