The Theban Tomb TT99 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. It forms part of the Theban Necropolis, situated on the west bank of the Nile opposite Luxor. The sepulchre is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian noble, Senneferi. It has been worked on by an expedition from the University of Cambridge since 1992. [1]
The HLHM ostracon, or the Halaḥam inscription is a limestone shard, discovered during the excavation of tomb TT99 in Thebes, bearing lines of hieratic and hieroglyphic characters on two sides written in black ink. This inscription bears a lesser-known letter order of early Semitic script, known as "Halaham", and is believed to date as old (circa fifteenth century BCE) as the tomb itself. These lettered inscriptions are the earliest predecessors to the modern Hebrew alphabet (Aleph, Bet, Gimel). [2] [3]
Paleo-Hebrew script, also Palæo-Hebrew, Proto-Hebrew or Old Hebrew, is the name used by modern scholars to describe the script found in Canaanite inscriptions from the region of Biblical Israel and Judah. It is considered to be the script used to record the original texts of the Hebrew Bible due to its similarity to the Samaritan script, as the Talmud stated that the Hebrew ancient script was still used by the Samaritans. The Talmud described it as the "Libona’a script", translated by some as "Lebanon script". Use of the term "Paleo-Hebrew alphabet" is due to a 1954 suggestion by Solomon Birnbaum, who argued that "[t]o apply the term Phoenician to the script of the Hebrews is hardly suitable".

Harwa was the son of the scribe Pedemut and his wife Estawert.

It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian workman Inherkhau, who was Foreman of the Lord of the Two Lands in the Place of Truth during the reigns of Ramesses III and Ramesses IV. He also owned Tomb TT299. Inherkau was the son of the similarly titled Foreman Huy. Inherkau's wife was named Wab.

The Theban Tomb TT54 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It was originally the burial place of the ancient Egyptian official Hui, who was an official during the reign of Thutmose IV and Amenhotep III. However, it was usurped later in the 19th Dynasty by another official, Kenro, and his son Khonsu.
