South Korea competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, from 13 to 29 August 2004. This was the nation's fourteenth appearance at the Olympics, except the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow because of its support for the United States boycott. Kim Min-Seok is a South Korean male table tennis player. He is a member of the South Korean national team and won several medals at international tournaments including the World Table Tennis Championships. He is currently ranked at number 89 in the world as of September 2016, with his all-time high being number 15 in April 2014.

The women's team table tennis event was part of the table tennis programme and took place between November 13 and 16, at the Guangzhou Gymnasium.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">South Korea at the 2018 Asian Games</span> Sporting event delegation

South Korea participated in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. It was the 18th appearance of the country at the Asian Games, except the first edition in Delhi. As one of the best competitors at the Games, South Korea's best achievement was in the 2002 Busan, with the acquisition of 96 gold, 80 silver and 84 bronze medals. At the latest edition in 2014 Incheon, the country had collected 79 gold, 71 silver, and 84 bronze medals.

Baseball at the 2018 Asian Games was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 21 August to 1 September 2018. A total of ten teams, the most ever, competed in the competition at two competition venues in Jakarta: Gelora Bung Karno Baseball Field and Rawamangun Baseball Field. The baseball teams of Laos, Sri Lanka and hosts Indonesia made their Asian Games baseball debut. The top six ranked teams, along with the hosts Indonesia, advanced to the main draw. The bottom three teams competed, with the winner advancing to the main draw.

The mixed doubles soft tennis event was part of the soft tennis programme and took place between August 29 and 30, at the Jakabaring Sport City Tennis Court. Yu Kai-wen and Cheng Chu-ling of Chinese Taipei won the gold medal in this event.

The men's flyweight event was part of the boxing programme at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The weight class allowed boxers of up to 51 kilograms to compete. The competition was held from 18 September to 2 October 1988. 44 boxers from 44 nations competed. Kim Kwang-sun won the gold medal.

The mixed team competition at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou was held on 27 September at the Xiaoshan Linpu Gymnasium.
