The Edip Buran Arena, formerly Yenişehir Belediyesi Sports Hall, is a multi-sport indoor arena at Yenişehir district of Mersin, Turkey. Built in 1971, it is owned by the Youth Services and Sports Directoriate of Mersin. The sports hall has a seating capacity of 1,750. It was renovated for the 2013 Mediterranean Games, and the new sports hall went on January 20, 2013, in service.

The Mersin District 7 Sports Hall is a multi-sport indoor arena located at Toroslar district of Mersin Province, Turkey. Owned by the Mersin National Education Directoriate, the sports hall was leased free of charge to the Mersin Youth Services and Sports Directoriate for a time span of 49 years in 2005. The venue is suitable for use of basketball, boxing, martial arts, table tennis, volleyball and wrestling events, and has a seating capacity of 325.

The 2022 Mediterranean Games, officially known as the XIX Mediterranean Games and commonly known as Oran 2022, was an international multi-sport event held from 25 June to 6 July 2022 in Oran, Algeria. Oran was announced as the host city at the ICMG General Assembly in Pescara, Italy, on 15 August 2015. They were supposed to take place in 2021, but they were delayed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 3,298 athletes took part in the games.

Adriana Yamila Díaz González is a Puerto Rican table tennis player. As of November 2022, she was ranked 3 and 11 in the Table Tennis World Ranking according to the International Table Tennis Federation. Díaz is sponsored by Butterfly and Adidas. Adriana is the sister of the table tennis player, Melanie Díaz, and cousin of Brian Afanador.
