Talatala oe Toetu Po'oi (born 30 March 1997) is a Tongan Athlete who has represented Tonga at the Commonwealth Games, Pacific Games, and Pacific Mini Games. He has also been a member of the Tonga national under-20 football team.

Po'oi is from Neiafu in the province of Vavaʻu. [2] In 2016 he was selected as a member of the Tonga national under-20 football team for the 2016 OFC U-20 Championship. [3] He played in the match against the Cook Islands. [4]

At the 2017 Pacific Mini Games in Port Vila he won gold in the 110 metres hurdles and bronze in the 400 metres hurdles. [5] At the 2019 Pacific Games in Apia he won silver in the 110 metres hurdles. [6] [7] Following the games he was granted land in Vavaʻu by governor Lord Fakatulolo. [8]

In 2018 he competed in the 110m hurdles at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Australia, [9] coming 8th in his heat. [10]

Tonga sent a delegation to compete at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia from 15 September to 1 October 2000. Sydney was Tonga's fifth consecutive appearance at a Summer Olympic Games. The Tongan delegation to Sydney consisted of two track and field athletes; Toluta'u Koula and Ana Siulolo Liku; and weightlifter Tevita Kofe Ngalu. Neither of the track athletes advanced beyond the first round of their events, while Ngalu came 13th in the men's 105 kg category.

Jonathan ("Jon") Peter Ridgeon is an English former athlete who competed mainly in the 110 metres hurdles and the 400 metres hurdles. In the 110m hurdles, he won the silver medal at the 1987 World Championships and the gold medal at the 1987 Universiade. He represented Great Britain at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

The men's 110 metres hurdles was an event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. The final was held on July 29, 1996. Sixty-two athletes from 39 nations competed. The maximum number of athletes per nation had been set at 3 since the 1930 Olympic Congress. The event was won by Allen Johnson of the United States, the nation's 18th title in the event. Florian Schwarthoff's bronze was the first medal in the event for Germany, though East Germany had won gold in 1980.
