Tamara Monserrat (born December 29, 1983) is a Mexican actress of film and television, primarily known for starring in several telenovelas.
Born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Monserrat is the daughter of Mallorcan businessman Jaime Monserrat.
Monserrat began her acting career in the Centro de Formación Actoral de la Televisión Azteca in Mexico and has taken several acting courses at the School of Acting of the prestigious actress Patricia Reyes Spíndola. [1]
She debuted as an actress in 2002 in the telenovela Por tí. In 2005 she got her first leading role in Telemundo's telenovela Los Plateados starring together with Mauricio Islas, Dominika Paleta and Humberto Zurita.

Itatí Guadalupe Cantoral Zucchi is a Mexican actress, singer, dancer, and producer, She is of Spanish and Italian descent. She is best known for her roles as Soraya Montenegro in Televisa's telenovela María la del Barrio (1995) and as Alejandra Álvarez del Castillo Fernández "La Licenciada" in Televisa's telenovela Hasta que el dinero nos separe (2009). On November 18, 2015, Cantoral was named Mr. Amigo, which is an association in Brownsville, Texas that honors a Mexican citizen each year to promote international friendship and good will between the U.S. and Mexico. Itatí is the second member of the Cantoral family to be awarded Mr. Amigo after her father, Roberto Cantoral, was awarded in 1981. Her maldita lisiada scene in María la del Barrio has become an internet meme.
