Tamizhi is a 2019 Indian Tamil language documentary web series created, produced and composed by Hiphop Tamizha, in their digital debut. The eight-episode web series is directed by Pradeep Kumar and written by Elango, which is a research documentary series based on evolution of Tamil writing script. [1] The first episode was aired on 2 October 2019, through the composer's official YouTube channel, and its finale was aired on 22 November 2019. [2]

Production

The making of the documentary web series was revealed by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in around 2017 while he was busy with his upcoming Tamil film projects as composer including for Thamizhan Endru Sol , Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven , Imaikka Nodigal , Thani Oruvan 2 and Natpe Thunai .[ citation needed ] It was revealed that Hiphop Aadhi himself had research on ancient Tamil language for more than a year before coming across an idea to produce a documentary series. [3] The official trailer of the web series was unveiled on 11 December 2018 on the eve of birth anniversary of late Tamil popular poet Subramania Bharati. [4]

Soundtrack

A promotional song for the web series was composed and written by Hiphop Tamizha, who also sung the along with Anthony Daasan. was released as a music video on 21 September 2019 on YouTube, and as a single in all streaming platforms on the same day. [5]

Imaikkaa Nodigal is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. It stars Nayanthara with Atharvaa, Raashii Khanna, and Anurag Kashyap, with the latter two both marking their debut in Tamil cinema in prominent roles. Vijay Sethupathi plays an extended cameo. The music was composed by Hiphop Tamizha, cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar, editing by Bhuvan Srinivasan, and produced by C. J. Jayakumar. The film is a situational story focalizing on how a serial killer is apprehended by an intelligent CBI officer.

<i>Meesaya Murukku</i> 2017 Indian film by Hiphop Tamizha

Meesaya Murukku is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language coming-of-age musical comedy-drama film written and directed by Hiphop Tamizha in his directorial debut. He stars as the lead along with newcomer Aathmika as the female lead, while Vivek, RJ Vigneshkanth and Vijayalakshmi play supporting roles. The film, a partly fictionalised biopic of Adhi's early life, was released on 21 July 2017 to mostly positive reviews and was a box-office hit. It was later remade in Kannada in 2019 as Padde Huli.

It is based on the sport of field hockey. In 2021, it was remade in Telugu as A1 Express.

Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is a Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Sundar C and produced by Lyca Productions. A remake of the Telugu film Attarintiki Daredi (2013), it stars Silambarasan, Ramya Krishnan, Prabhu, Nassar, Megha Akash, and Catherine Tresa, with Mahat Raghavendra and Yogi Babu, among others, in supporting roles. <i>Natpe Thunai</i> (soundtrack) 2019 soundtrack album by Hiphop Tamizha

Natpe Thunai is the soundtrack album for the 2019 Indian Tamil-language film of the same name. The soundtrack album was composed by Hiphop Tamizha with lyrics written by Hiphop Tamizha, Arivu, Sollisai Selvandhar and Dr. Vadugam Sivakumar. All the songs in the film were released as singles. The soundtrack album which features, all the songs were released on 3 April 2019. The songs "Madham Madham" and "Keezh Veezhndhal Meendezhuvom" were not featured in the film's soundtrack album, despite being featured in the end credits of the film.

<i>Naan Sirithal</i> 2020 Indian film by Raana

Naan Sirithal is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language comedy film written and directed by Raana in his directorial debut. Following the success of Meesaya Murukku and Natpe Thunai, Sundar C co-produced Adhi's third film and it became a hat-trick hit. Hiphop Tamizha and Iswarya Menon and K. S. Ravikumar is playing a villain role, while Badava Gopi and Eruma Saani Vijay are playing supporting roles. It is a feature film version of Raana's own short film Keka Beka Keka Beka. The film released on 14 February 2020 to mixed reviews.

Aathmika is an Indian actress and model who works in Tamil cinema. She made her debut through the role of Vennila in the film Meesaya Murukku (2017).

<i>Sivakumarin Sabadham</i> 2021 Indian film by Hiphop Tamizha

Sivakumarin Sabadham is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language musical comedy drama film written and directed by Hiphop Tamizha who co-produced the film with Sathya Jyothi Films in the banner Indie Rebels. Adhi also stars as the lead alongside Prankster Rahul in his debut and Madhuri Jain. The film was released on 30 September 2021 to mixed reviews and did average collections.

<i>Thani Oruvan</i> (soundtrack) 2015 soundtrack album by Hiphop Tamizha

Thani Oruvan is the soundtrack album for the 2015 Tamil film of the same name directed by Mohan Raja and starring Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy. The album has five songs in total, all of them being composed by Hiphop Tamizha, and also wrote four out of five tracks, with Mohan Raja penning one of the tracks from the album. It is Hiphop Tamizha's third feature film as a composer, after Aambala and Indru Netru Naalai. The soundtrack album was unveiled by Sony Music India on 25 July 2015, and received positive response from critics and audiences. Thani Oruvan was listed as the most streamed Tamil album and the second best Tamil album of iTunes of the year 2015, followed by O Kadhal Kanmani.

The film stars Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in his first dual role, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Shivani Rajashekar, with Napoleon, Vidharth, Sai Kumar, Asha Sharath, and Arjai in supporting roles. The film's music and the score is composed by Hiphop Tamizha with cinematography handled by Madhesh Manickam and editing done by Pradeep E. Ragav. The film was released via Disney+ Hotstar on 7 January 2022.

Kadaisi Ulaga Por is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language dystopian science fiction action thriller film written, directed and produced by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi under Hiphop Tamizha Entertainment. The film stars Aadhi, alongside Nassar, Natarajan Subramaniam, Anagha, N. Azhagam Perumal, Harish Uthaman, Munishkanth, Singampuli, Kalyan Master, Elango Kumaravel, Thalaivaasal Vijay and Mahanadi Shankar. It is the first production of the studio and the third directorial venture of Aadhi. The film, set in the year 2028, revolves around the war in India after it refused to alliance with the neighbouring country.
