Tantra was released on 15 March 2024. [3] Post-theatrical digital streaming rights were acquired by Aha and was premiered on 5 April 2024. [4]
Times Now gave a rating of 3 out of 5, and praised the performance of Ananya Nagalla and the storyline. [5] In contrast, 123Telugu rated the film 2.25 out of 5 saying, "elements like slow pacing, inclusion of multiple subplots, poor screenplay, and lack of interesting elements in the second half are the biggest drawbacks of Tantra". [6] Cinema Express too gave a similar review citing it as a "tiresome, convoluted horror-thriller". [7]
Yarlagadda Sumanth Kumar, known mononymously as Sumanth, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is the eldest grandson of Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He is also a partner in Annapurna Studios.
Saloni Aswani is an Indian actress and model who appears in Telugu and Kannada films. After finishing her education, Saloni ventured into modelling, appearing in various television advertisements. She went on to pursue a career in acting, debuting in the Hindi film Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa (2003), following which she starred in several Telugu films, failing to achieve notable commercial success.
