Air vice-marshal Tanveer Ashraf Bhatti, [1] Sitara-i-Imtiaz,is in the Pakistan Air Force serving as the Additional Director general of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority since 4 July 2018. [2] He was commissioned in the GD (P) Branch of the Pakistan Air Force in December 1988. He holds a master's degree in “National Security &War Studies". He is a graduate of the Combat Commander's School,Air War College and the National Defence University. He has been awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) is a public sector autonomous body under the administrative control of the Secretary to the Government of Pakistan for Aviation,which oversees and regulates all aspects of civil aviation in Pakistan. PCAA's head office is situated in Terminal-1 of Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. PCAA is a member state of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Nearly all 44 civilian airports in Pakistan are owned and operated by the PCAA. Air Marshal (Retd.) Asim Suleiman was appointed to head the PCAA as its Director General on 27 November 2015.
Squadron Leader Sarfaraz Ahmed Rafiqui was a fighter pilot in the Pakistan Air Force. He was known for his bravery and courage in two of the aerial combats during Indo-Pakistani War of 1965,and is a recipient of both the Hilal-e-Jurat and the Sitara-e-Jurat military awards from the Government of Pakistan.
The Hilaal-e-Imtiaz,also spelled and transliterated as Hilāl-e-Imtiyāz,is the second-highest civilian award and honour given to both civilians and military officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces by the Government of Pakistan. It recognises individuals who have made an "especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan,world peace,cultural or other significant public endeavors". It is a civilian award,and not limited to the citizens of Pakistan.
The Sitara-i-Imtiaz;transl. Star of Excellence,also spelled as Sitara-e-Imtiaz),is the third-highest honour and civilian award in the State of Pakistan. It recognizes individuals who have made an "especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan,world peace,cultural or other significant public endeavours".
Sitara-e-Jurat is the third highest military award of Pakistan. It was established in 1957 after Pakistan became a republic;however,it was instituted retrospectively back to 1947. It is awarded for gallantry or distinguished service in combat;and can be bestowed upon officers,junior commissioned officers,petty officers,warrant officers,soldiers,sailors,airmen,and equivalents in the Pakistan Army,Navy,Air Force,and various paramilitary forces under federal control,such as the Frontier Corps,the Frontier Constabulary,and the Pakistan Rangers. It may be considered to be roughly equivalent to the Military Cross and the Silver Star.
Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat Rana,is a retired four-star air officer in the Pakistan Air Force who served as the Chief of Air Staff,tenured in this capacity from 18 March 2003 until retiring from his commission on 20 March 2006.
Air Marshal Mohammed Azim Daudpota,commonly known as Azim Daudpota,was the first Sindhi pilot in Pakistan Air Force and the first Sindhi to receive the Sitara-e-Jurrat Award.
Rao Qamar Suleman,NI(M),SBt was the 12th Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force. The four-star rank Air Force officer commanded the PAF from 2009 to 2012. Earlier he was "Deputy Chief of Air Staff of Operations". Suleman was succeeded by Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt as Chief of Air Staff on 7 March 2012.

Eric Gordon HallHJSJHI was a Pakistani fighter and bomber pilot,and former Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). A two-star general in the Pakistan Air Force,Hall had served as the Vice Chief of Air Staff and was one of the most distinguished pilots belonging to the Christian minority who had participated in all of the major India−Pakistan wars,most notably the First Kashmir War,the Second Kashmir War and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. He had also served as the Director-General of the Pakistan Air Force's Air Force Science Research Laboratories (AFSRL) where he led atomic weapons research efforts as part of Pakistan's nuclear technology project.
Arshad Sami Khan;was a Pakistani diplomat,civil servant and fighter pilot who at peak of his career attained the highest rank of Federal Secretary. He started his career as a Pakistan Air Force fighter pilot and later served 3 Presidents of Pakistan as their aide-de-camp (ADC) and later went on to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he served three Presidents and four Prime Ministers as chief of protocol. He was later appointed as a diplomatic ambassador of Pakistan to 14 countries. This was followed by his appointment as the first Commissioner General of Pakistan. He was also Federal Secretary of Culture and retired as a top BPS-22 grade bureaucratic officer. He was also the father of singer and music composer Adnan Sami.
Imtiaz Bhatti born in Gujrat,British India is a cyclist and a former Air Force pilot of Pakistan. He was the Pakistan cycling champion during his student days at Punjab Agriculture College,Lyallpur in late 1940s and early 1950s. He set national cycling records and represented Pakistan in the individual and team road race events at the 1952 Summer Olympics where he was placed 1st among the Asian cyclists and 25th in the world in the 1000 m time trial. Bhatti a veteran of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 flew 34 combat missions,the maximum from Pakistan during the war and is credited with confirmed downing of two Indian planes and damaging a third,besides participating in raids that took out the Amritsar radar and various other air defence and ground support missions.
Asim Hussain,SI,HI is a Pakistani-Canadian,active in the fields of health,education,and Pakistani politics. He is chairman of Ziauddin Group of Hospitals in Karachi,and former Advisor of Prime Minister for Ministry of Oil and Natural Resources,Pakistan. He was a member of the Senate of Pakistan as part of Pakistan Peoples Party from 2009 to 2015.

Syed Abu Ahmad Akif is a retired Pakistani civil servant who served in BPS-22 grade as the Cabinet Secretary and Climate Change Secretary of Pakistan. Akif belongs to the Pakistan Administrative Service and was promoted to the rank of Federal Secretary by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 2016.
