Taurus was an American female Crunk&B trio, consisting of Doma, Notation & Jazz, that became slightly known for their heavily Salt-N-Pepa-influenced debut single "Taurus Here" in 2005. In January 2006, the trio made their first public television appearances on the now-defunct musical series, Showtime at the Apollo [1] and Soul Train , to perform their single, "Taurus Here". [2] [3]
In 2007, the group was requested by the New Jersey Nets to sing the national anthem. [4] That same year, the group released another single titled, "Get Out My Bed", which featured production by Mr. Collipark and guest rap verses from rapper, Hurricane Chris. [5] By the year's end, Taurus had departed from their label, Landmine Entertainment, and their self-titled debut album was shelved.

The Sugarhill Gang is an American hip hop group formed in Englewood, New Jersey in 1979. Their hit "Rapper's Delight", released the same year they were formed, was the first rap single to become a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching a peak position of number 36 on January 12, 1980. This was the trio's only U.S. hit, though they would have further success in Europe until the mid-1980s. The trio reformed in 1994 and embarked on a world tour in 2016.

En Vogue is an American vocal girl group whose original lineup consisted of singers Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones. Formed in Oakland, California, in 1989, En Vogue reached No. 2 on the US Hot 100 with the single "Hold On", taken from their 1990 debut album Born to Sing.
