History
Team One was formed in the 1960s through the secret efforts of Lord Emp, then called Saul Baxter. For nearly 50 years, Daemonite activity had been non-existent, but a sudden flurry of attacks aimed at U.S. military bases worried Baxter that a new offensive was coming. Using his influence within the military-industrial complex, he arranged for the formation of a team to handle the oncoming threat. Enter Miles Craven. As head of the newly formed International Operations, he was chosen to act as the visible head of the team; Baxter's true level of involvement was to remain a secret.
Through a combination of Baxter's influence and contacts among the Kherubim and Craven's involvement with a number of secret military projects, the team was created and dubbed Team One.
On their first mission, the group was mobilized to deal with the takeover of a nuclear missile silo by the combined forces of the superpowered crime lord "Slaughterhouse" Smith and Helspont. The personnel of the silo were all swiftly killed. The duo had intended to hold the country for ransom, threatening to launch the missiles if they weren't paid on time. Trouble arises when Smith realizes that Helspont really intends to destroy New York, which Smith has a weak spot for. Helspont double-crosses him anyway.
Team One arrives and battles the enemy. Further trouble ensues when one of the team loses their nerve and freezes up in the midst of battle.
While the exact details of the battle's climax aren't known, the outcome is. Regiment died when the missile he was holding onto exploded and John Colt asks Majestic to kill him since he feared that his dark side could emerge. Majestic began his apparent sabbatical at the North Pole, Mason was later killed by the villain Kenyan (an enemy of Saul Baxter/Jacob Marlowe) and Team One was disbanded.
Wildstorm Productions is an American comic book imprint. Originally founded as an independent company established by Jim Lee under the name "Aegis Entertainment" and expanded in subsequent years by other creators, Wildstorm became a publishing imprint of DC Comics in 1998. Until it was shut down in 2010, the Wildstorm imprint remained editorially separate from DC Comics, with its main studio located in California. The imprint took its name from a portmanteau of the titles of the Jim Lee comic series WildC.A.T.S. and Stormwatch.

Nigel Keane, also known as Hellstrike, is a comic book superhero in the WildStorm's Stormwatch series, first appearing in Stormwatch #1. He possesses the ability to project plasma as destructive bolts or as an energy stream to allow himself to fly. As of Issue #12, he also has to live inside a containment suit similar to Fuji's.
Team 7 is a comic book superhero team that appeared in titles published by Wildstorm Productions. The team has appeared in 3 self-titled miniseries: Team 7, Team 7: Objective Hell and Team 7: Dead Reckoning. The first 5-issue Gen13 limited series also involved members of Team 7. The team's members have played a major role throughout the Wildstorm Universe. In September 2011, The New 52 rebooted DC's continuity, bringing in Wildstorm characters, including Team 7.
Backlash is a comic book character from the Wildstorm Universe who first appeared in StormWatch #3 in 1993. He was featured in his own comic book series, which ran from 1994 to 1997. His daughter Jodi also uses the name.

The story ran across at least one issue of most WildStorm titles at the time and several independent one-shots. The story tied into many events happening in the WildStorm universe and, unlike many major crossovers of the time, Fire From Heaven had a lasting impact on many of the characters involved.
