Techtro Lucknow Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The club currently competes in the Lucknow Super Division. [1] The club was established in 2019 by Neeraj Kholiya. [2] [3] [4] Techtro Lucknow were the champions of Lucknow Super Division, and nominated for the I-League 2.

Techtro Lucknow FC was formed in 2019 as ''Techtro FC'' by Neeraj Kholiya, and renamed as Techtro Lucknow FC in 2021. After the formation of Techtro Swades United FC, it became satellite team of their academy players, before getting I-League 2nd Division nomination as a separated entity. [5]

The Lucknow Super Division, also Lucknow District Football League, is the state-level football league of Lucknow, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The league started in 2015. In 2021 it was organised grandly with 50 teams from Lucknow and other districts of Uttar Pradesh.

2022–23 Hero I-League 2nd Division was the 15th season of the I-League 2nd Division since its establishment in 2008. This was the first season of I-League 2nd Division since rebranding as the third tier of Indian football league system. The league's group stage has been played from March to May 2023, parallel to the remaining part of both I-League and Indian Super League seasons. The top two teams on the league table, Delhi and Shillong Lajong, secured a place in the 2023–24 I-League season.

The 2021–22 Indian State Leagues season represented a series of highest state-level football tournaments played as qualifiers to determine teams for the 2022–23 season of I-League 2.
