Glendon Theodore "Teddy" Campbell, Sr. [1] (born February 24, 1975) is a gospel drummer & singer. [2] He was the drummer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno . He is the lead singer for the Soul Seekers.
Christian Youth M.B. of Chicago, is where Teddy Campbell's love of music, and learning to play the drums as a child, began. For the past 7 years, Campbell was seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a member of the live house band. Campbell was the drummer for the newly formed Tonight Show band led by Rickey Minor. He is now a drummer on American Idol .
Teddy Campbell is married to Trecina "Tina" Atkins-Campbell of the highly acclaimed contemporary gospel duo, Mary Mary. They married in 2000. He has his eldest daughter (from a previous relationship) named Cierra. Together they have four children. Laiah Simone Campbell, Meela Jane Campbell, and Theodore (named after previous generations; he is also known as "TJ") and Santana Campbell.

VH1 debuted the first annual VH1 Divas concert in 1998. VH1 Divas Live was created to support the channel's Save The Music Foundation and subsequent concerts in the series have also benefited that foundation. The VH1 Divas concerts were a follow-up to the channel's annual VH1 Honors benefit concert that ran from 1994 to 1997, airing annually from 1998 to 2004. After a five-year hiatus, the series returned in 2009 with a younger-skewed revamp. In 2010 the concert saluted the troops and in 2011 it celebrated soul music, doubling the previous year's ratings. It began on July 8, 2003, St. Paul, Minnesota and finished on August 31, 2003, in Anaheim, California. Josh Gracin was unable to participate in the tour as he was recalled to his unit in the U.S. Marines, and Corey Clark was barred from participating due to his failure to reveal his Misdemeanor arrest. Corey Clark was replaced by Charles Grigsby for the tour, but the show producers opted not to replace Josh Gracin with twelfth-placed finisher Vanessa Olivarez.
