Teesri Azadi is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language film on caste system by Jabbar Patel. [1] Film is based on "twisted version" of Ramayana and Mahabharata. [2] [3] This film was distributed on CDs in different parts of India by Akhil Bharatiya Baba Sahab Dr Ambedkar Samaj Sudhar Samiti, Bhimrao Ambedkar Samaj Sudhar Samiti and Ambedkar Boudhik Sanghathan. [4] In July 2006, shooting Teesri Azadi was completed in Maharashtra and released online on YouTube. The distributors of the movie claimed that they have support of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) but BSP rejected these claims and a CBI investigation was ordered by Chief Minister Mayawati into the making of the movie over allegations of creating communal disharmony. [3] The investigation initially resulted in arrested of three people involved in the making of the movie. [5]

Narendra Achyut Dabholkar was an Indian physician, social activist, rationalist and author from Maharashtra, India. K. Khaparde, and Dinabhana. The term got its significance from the Constitution of India, which intersects the oppressed and exploited Indians into classes on the basis of their status: Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Minority Communities.

Ritesh Pandey is an Indian politician serving as the Member of Parliament from Ambedkar Nagar constituency. He is a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) from the state of Uttar Pradesh. He was also a MLA from Jalalpur constituency in Ambedkar Nagar district, which he represented between June 2017 and May 2019 before elected as MP in. He was appointed the Leader of the BSP in the Lok Sabha in January 2020. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Deputy Leader.

Kuldeep Singh Sengar is an Indian politician and former member of Legislative Assembly belonging to the Bhartiya Janta Party from Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh who has been convicted of rape, murder, attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy and criminal intimidation. He is the main defendant in the Unnao rape case and was booked under the POCSO Act. He is also accused of killing three people, including the victim's father in police custody and later her aunts by a conspired truck accident. A Delhi District and Sessions Court upheld an investigation conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that had ruled out any foul play in the Unnao rape survivor's accident in 2019.

The Uttar Pradesh illegal sand mining scam is a political scandal relating to events that occurred in 2012–2017 during the Samajwadi Party (SP) rule. It is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the 2016 orders of Allahabad High Court for allowing illegal mining in 7 districts of Uttar Pradesh – Shamli, Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Siddharthnagar, Deoria, Kaushambi and Saharanpur – in violation of rules and ban by the National Green Tribunal. On 5 January 2019, the CBI raided 14 suspects in 14 locations in 7 cities across Uttar Pradesh and Delhi pertaining to this scam, and incriminating evidence was seized.

In January 2022, Pandey left Bahujan Samaj Party and joined Samajwadi Party.
