Tegar is the fourth studio album by Indonesian singer Rossa, released through Pro-Sound/Trinity Optima Production, on 25 November 1999.
After the success of her first album, Nada-Nada Cinta (1996), Rossa reentered the Indonesian music industry with her second album, Tegar, which was released on November 25, 1999. The main single on this album, titled Tegar and created by Melly Goeslaw, was later used as the soundtrack for the soap opera Suami, Istri, dan Dia, directed by Putu Wijaya and produced by Star Vision for broadcast on RCTI. It was released in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and Japan in 2000 by BMG Music Malaysia. Rossa also represented Indonesia at the My Love festival, held from October 26 to 29, 2000, in Hanoi, Vietnam. The second single from the album, "Biarkan Cinta Itu Ada", was also used as the soundtrack for the soap opera Tersayang in Brunei Darussalam in 2000. [2] [3]
