Tegra Tshabola (born January 24, 2004) [1] is an American football offensive guard for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Tshabola attended Lakota West High School located in West Chester, Ohio. Coming out of high school, Tshabola was rated as a four-star recruit, the 10th offensive tackle, and the 114th overall player in the class of 2022. [2] Tshabola also held offers from schools such as Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, and Oklahoma. [3] Ultimately, Tshabola committed to play college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. [4] [5]
In Tshabola's first collegiate season in 2022, he would appear in four games for the Buckeyes. [6] [7] During the 2023 season, Tshabola played in 13 games as a reserve for Ohio State. [8] [9] Heading into the 2024 season, Tshabola competed for a starting spot on the Buckeye's offensive line. [10] [11]
Lakota West High School is a four-year, public high school in West Chester Township, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is a member of the Lakota Local School District, which comprises both West Chester Township and Liberty Township. The district was originally unified under one high school, Lakota High School, until 1997 when the district expanded and formed two new high schools – Lakota West and Lakota East. Enrollment for Lakota West exceeds 2,500 students, and the school's radio station, WLHS 89.9 FM, is a remnant of the former high school and is staffed by students from both Lakota East and Lakota West.
