Ten Mile Creek is a stream in Macon and Shelby counties of Missouri. [1] It is a tributary of the North Fork Salt River.
The headwaters of the stream are at 39°48′50″N92°22′30″W / 39.81389°N 92.37500°W and the confluence with the North Fork Salt River is at 39°47′12″N92°10′49″W / 39.78667°N 92.18028°W . [1] The source area for the stream is in eastern Macon County east of Missouri Route K between Ten Mile and Redman. The stream flows east-southeast and is impounded in western Shelby County as Daniel Boone Lake north of Clarence on U.S. Route 36. The stream passes under Missouri Route 151 below the dam and continues to the east for about five miles to its confluence with the North Fork. [2]
Ten Mile Creek was so named on account of its length, approximately ten miles (16 km). [3]

The stream crosses under Interstate 70 about eight miles east of Columbia and enters the Mark Twain National Forest. The stream flows south to southwest through the national forest and upon leaving the forest turns to the east and ceases to be the county line. The stream flows east for about one mile then turns south and flows under U. S. Route 63 and into the Missouri River four miles northwest of Cedar City and across the river from Jefferson City. The Katy Trail crosses Cedar Creek just north of its confluence with the Missouri.
