| Tennis at the 2023 Pan American Games |
The following is the qualification system and qualified countries for the Tennis at the 2023 Pan American Games competition.
A total of 82 tennis players will qualify to compete at the Games (41 men and 41 women). Each country is allowed to enter a maximum of three male and three female athletes (with one pair maximum in each of the doubles events). The singles events will consist of 41 men and 41 women respectively, with those athletes competing in the doubles events. The host nation Chile was allowed to enter with a maximum team of 6 athletes, while the remaining spots were distributed using two regional Games and the ATP rankings, WTA rankings and ITF rankings. A further three wildcards for men and women will be also awarded. [1]

The 1975 Pan American Games, officially known as the VII Pan American Games and commonly known as Mexico 1975, were held in Mexico City, Mexico, from October 12 to October 26, 1975, exactly twenty years after the second Pan American Games were held there. It was the third major sporting event held in the Mexican capital in seven years, after the 1968 Summer Olympics and the 1970 FIFA World Cup.
Peru at the Pan American Games. The Peruvians had participated in all editions of the games, except in 1955 in Mexico City. They have won a total of 19 gold medals, 40 silver and 90 bronze and 149 overall counting the 2019 Panamerican Games in Lima.

Katherine Winder Cochella is a Peruvian badminton player. She educated at the Universidad del Pacífico Lima, and in 2015, Winder competed at the Pan Am Games in the women's and mixed doubles event. In the women's doubles she placed 7th, while in the mixed doubles she won the bronze medal partnered with Mario Cuba. In 2010, she won the gold medal at the South American Games in the women's doubles event teamed up with Claudia Zornoza.
Martín Alonso del Valle Salinas is a Peruvian badminton player. He competed at the 2011 and 2015 Pan Am Games. In 2008, he won the bronze medal at the Pan Am Badminton Championships in the men's doubles event partnered with Antonio de Vinatea, and in 2009, he and Vinatea won the silver medal. In 2013, he won the gold medal in the mixed team event and a silver medal in the men's doubles event at the Bolivarian Games.
