It was used as a marketing tool, suggested by Sony and Epic Records to promote Aiko through group and cultivate her own following. In 2003, Aiko was set to release her debut album, My Name Is Jhené, through her labels Sony, The Ultimate Group and Epic; however, the album was never released, with Aiko eventually asking to be released from the label in order to continue her education.
"Leave It All to Me" is the debut single by American actress and singer Miranda Cosgrove and the theme song for her Nickelodeon show iCarly. It features Cosgrove's former Drake & Josh co-star, Drake Bell, and uncredited vocals from Nathan Kress. It was written by Michael Corcoran, one of Bell's band members. A shortened version is used in the show's opening credits, but the full version can be found on the show's soundtrack. The single charted in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100, at position 100. Broken Bells is an American indie rock band composed of artist-producer Brian Burton and James Mercer, the lead vocalist and guitarist for the indie rock band The Shins. Broken Bells compose and create as a duo, but are joined by Dan Elkan and Jon Sortland when performing live. The album is Bell's first album in almost eight years, following It's Only Time, which was released in 2006. Originally slated for an early 2013 release, Ready, Steady, Go! was released on April 22, 2014. The lead single, "Bitchcraft", was released on January 28, 2014. The album's promotional single, "I Won't Stand In Your Way", was released on April 17, 2014. "Bull" was a hit in Mexico, peaking at number 8.
